@@MarvelStopMotionStudiosThe Walgreens Fantastic Four are the best versions of the FF..I was lucky enough to be able to get the Thing on the aftermarket for $24..& Mr Fantastic for about the same..but my favorite Human Torch is the retro version.
Hasbro has increased in price significantly, I hate that they did this and they should stop it. A moving piece of plastic should not be more than at most $40. I also hate the action figure community, and how they will make people pay ridiculous and ludicrous prices to get a hunk of plastic. I love action figures, and I am still collecting figures that are expensive, I will still pay the ridiculous prices to fulfill my hobby I just don’t think they should cost much money. There are better things to spend $100 and above on. God bless happy holidays brother, congratulations
Honestly, all exclusives are hard to find for me. My nearest local Walmart doesn’t sell any legends anymore and I don’t live near any targets. The only place that was good for finding exclusives was GameStop. There haven’t been any GameStop exclusives in quite some time though.
Yes, I had to buy the cell shaded animated Venom bootleg. It’s still nice, really good…. And it is better to have a version than nothing in my opinion.
Never found that original retro animated Spiderman in stores and just picked up both that venom and Spiderman for like 40 bucks loose and complete, and both are authentic!
I live by 6 or 7 walmarts. Not one of them ever had thr exclusive marvel legends. It's not like I live in the middle of no where either. I live in a huge metro area. I look up the walmart app and none say there's any in stores in a 50 miles radius. Either scalpers get it or my state just sucks
I can make an argument against Target exclusives because I live in Puerto Rico and we don't have Target stores over here. I always end up overpaying online.
I agree with him about the animated series Venom. That's why i got a $20 KO from aliex, removed the cel shading and did some pearly paint dry brushing on the eyes and black overall areas. Not to mention adding the white patches on the hands.
im currently scalping both of those on ebay and i can assure you that neither of those figures go for a hundred bucks. so not only are you incapable of getting figures that were up on walmarts website for literal weeks, but you cant even use the functions on ebays website correctly to make sure youre not peddling misinformation about pricing. jfc, what it must be like to be in a zoomers head.
Honestly I have the Spider-Man figure you’re talking about and I feel like it’s too small. Spider-Man from the 94 cartoon was supper buff and I don’t feel the figure properly represents that. With that said I do love this figure because I grew up with the cartoon and love that version of Spider-Man.
AGREE 💯 IMO the RYV body sculpt is the best Spider Man .. even tho I do appreciate the Amazing Fantasy version ..it does represent the teenage Peter Parker well
Alot of the employees take them figures before they hit shelves plus alot of scalpers/ Walmart buy up their own products on certain items then resale them on their website for higher prices
@YakBat why don't you look into it a few people from target and Walmart was fired around Illinois for stealing items plus hiding them in the back and would wait for their buddies too come too pick up items ,,while collectors are in the store trying too find them, where you get their apps saying that's its 2-4 of the item still in store no where too be found please the employees already took items or hid items plus use common sense you go too pre-order certain items and they sale out so quick then later on the same items are on their website sale'n for double or triple the price like Walmart/ Target exclusive been resold on Walmart website how was it where hardly no one was able too pre-order or wasn't able too pre-order at all but the same items show back up on their website not eBay their store exclusive being resold come on that's common sense
When target gets waves they usually only get one of each figure which is a real pain if it’s a single release fig you’ll have a better chance, a absolutely Agree hasbro needs to stop it with these store exclusives especially when it’s a super popular character
@ Walmart has 3rd party sellers. It isn’t sold by them. They will also use fake photos to entice you. Regardless, it’s a bootleg. You won’t find an official one for less than $50 anywhere. While it looks the same, it is poor quality and really isn’t worth the money
All of the retailer exclusives suck! I collect Legends, McFarlane DC Multverse and G.I.Joe Classified and the store exclusives are always difficult to get at retail price!🤦🏾♂️
With the Secret Wars, black suit Spider-Man and Wolverine are pre-sold-sold out!!! How do they do that?! Just make it only “r per customer” - “per zip code… you have to put your zip code in to get it shipped and if you ordered more than 5, your order gets declined. I know Hasbro won’t do crap because it makes the figures “rare”… but they have the molds and paint… just make more. Why do they make millions of side characters that no one wants, which wastes money, and limited releases of pop characters. That never happened with comic books…. Print as many as will sell then keep on printing….! You’re not wrong at all! Rant away man!
I live in Malaysia and I get all these figures easily over here either via normal retailer or Hasbro Pulse or bbts. So I am not sure what are you complaining about.
I was able to get Retro Venom pretty much no problem from the Walmart website..,& just the other day I was able to get Prowler for $15..& Warlord Professor X was also on sale for$10
I agree so much I hate exclusives like that new retro quicksilver I wanted it. I can’t find it because it’s exclusive to Walmart and Walmart doesn’t have anything and that new professor X that was revealed the target exclusive one that one I want I’m probably not gonna be able to because it’s gonna be impossible to getget it like it makes sense to make something exclusive, but don’t make it something that like everyone’s gonna want like those Spider-Man figures like it can be like maybe some random 70s seven Spider-Man like the Walmart exclusive when they just revealed, but don’t make it something that people actually want and need because at that point they just are forced to pay that overpriced price. I agree with your take so much man
The Warlord Professor X was on sale for$10 on the Walmart website a few days ago..I also picked up Retro Quicksilver there for retail a couple weeks ago.. from there no problem..I also picked up Retro Prowler for $15
Man my Walmart near me has NOTHING in terms of anything new. They’re always a wave or 2 behind. I randomly walked into Walmart last year and found the retro Spider-Man and snatched it up immediately. Had to sell it a few months after to get some extra cash for my ex girlfriend (along with a lot of really meaningful and expensive things) and I regret that decision to this day
I hate when they make IMPORTANT characters exclusives. There's no reason a Spider-man, the most popular superhero, should be locked behind WALGREENS OF ALL PLACES
No… a;l exclusives need to stop…! Agreed! It’s all crap! I had to pay $42 for Retro Venom, because I grew up with the Venom in the comic…. And that one head is what I wanted… and they made it exclusive. It just made me hate Hasbro… and Walmart to be honest….
Yeah I bought both of these figures off eBay. Couldn’t find them nowhere else for a reasonable price and they cost me an arm and a leg. I like them both so it doesn’t bother me that much
While I agree with the whole argument, you can get the Spider-Man from mercari for around $50ish, Ik that’s still more then it should be but it’s also better then $90
Bruh thats how we get so many different characters So no youre wrong they definitely need to keep making exclusives. Those two were fairly cheap in the groups for a long time so idk man you gotta jump on that shit. Most of us are fans of the comics tho lol not just the cartoons and so yeah its nice to get a couple releases but aside from that we dont need multiple releases of the same cartoon adaptation figure. And this particular cartoon we now have two of them. Its way more important that we get all the comic characters made at least once and if that means some of yall dont get some cartoon characters thats how its gotta be lol. We already get a million damn spidermen dude. We all have had to pay more than we wanted for one figure we really liked for me it was the Kickstarter spawn but thats what ya gotta do sometimes
