  • Riding the Port Cable Car is a must when in Barcelona, the weather is nice and there’s no wind!
The views are amazing, the whole experience is super easy and we absolutely loved our ride :)
    Let’s go!

Hi Tony, happy you enjoyed the video! Honestly, we don’t know - we did not buy one at the time as we travelled outside of Barcelona a lot, plus some of the places we wanted to visit were still closed or visits were restricted/had to be booked in advance so it did not make sense for us then. I think we paid around 10-11 euros one way and it’s slightly more expensive for the round trip, but do check the latest prices online - and enjoy your trip! :)

    What is it for?

It’s a cable car which goes from port to the mt. Montjuik area - allows you to save steps and time when going between these to areas and get some amazing views at the same time :)

When we went to Barcelona there was a tower close to the cruise ship area (Jaime I), but looking now it seems to be closed: www.telefericodebarcelona.com/en/teleferico-de-barcelona-route/. Taking cable car from the Monjuic area will be closer (that would be an opposite direction from what we did). For prices check the website closer to when you go, but from what I remember it wasn't too expensive (we did the one way trip only). The area in both ends is walkable, but do decide if you prefer to walk or take the taxi depending on what else you want to do and how much time you have. And - enjoy your trip! :)
