- One month ago, the final of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest was won by Duncan Laurence from The Netherlands. In this never published footage we show the artists preparing for their performances as well as their first emotions right after their performance.

There was a video of footage taken by an audience member in the green room, the Dutch delegation started a "polonaise" during Miki's song and it ended up being a full-blown conga line
It was such a nice song and such a nice feeling widespread. Definitely not for 22 place.

Carlee Boon Yes, It’s a possibiliity he did some meditation. I meditate on a daily basis myself and it is a fantastic method to stay calm and focused for big events like this.

Look at Bilal! How could some people say he didn't deserve to represent his country? I mean, you may not like his style (and still, you can express it in a respectful way - but that's a whole other topic), but I would be pleased to be represented by an artist who believes so strongly in the event!

Beautiful enough for me I don‘t know but I think „good“ is not enough for the Big 5. When they have not something special they always get bad places. UK, Germany, French.. Only Italy always make a good job. People love the language and the special performances and singers.

They have such a special, precious relationship. Ilse looks incredibly proud of Duncan (as she should be!) She has been believing in him since she suggested him to represent the Netherlands even though he was entirely unknown unlike the last years entries but she was convinced that he was the right choice. And Duncan seems so unbelievably thankful because he never would've gotten this chance without her, and both of these things show. Their story really touches my heart.
One of my favourite moments from this ESC is when they hug super tightly after Duncan has been announced winner for like half a minute staight... so much pure, genuine emotion 💖 I'm not a very emotional person normally but that really got to me.
