Since these videos came out, wherever I drive I pay attend to the trucks on the road here in Toronto, Many trucks I see have the rear guard that looks quite weak at the two corner' Part , Like no enforcement behind like you see from the crash test video. Most of them look quite strong in the middle, so the middle part is ok. I am not sure how diff the Canadian regulation is for trucks. But I think what we have in these videos is a good test , you should prepare for the worst. And now I never drive right behind a truck.
Not that I don't think that these tests aren't cool, but shouldn't people be more concerned that the barriers on these Semi Trailers don't prevent passenger vehicles from underiding? There wouldn't be a need for this test of the barrier on the trailer was strengthened.

Drag increases with the square of speed … so it’s not really possible to get the same efficiency at higher speeds vs low speeds, even with a 2 speed gearbox.

The driver seat at 3:30 is way too close on this test no one sits this close at 90 degrees angle.
height is the key in this test...thats why it is better to desing trailers bariers for this crash, not the cars

In EU they are strengthened, so cars won’t slide underneath. It brings a lot of safety and makes a huge difference.

I want to see that real world range, many companies promised much range and then barely some of them make It to 80% of what they claim
It obviously won't have the same highway range as city range. Aero drag is your biggest issue, not gearbox.
