This is wonderful to see. Our 3-year old Aussie still has the stuffed animal we gave him the day we brought him home and it's his baby. He goes and gets it every night when it's bed time. Save that toy for him and once he gets past the chewing on everything stage, he'll love having that toy.

My puppy is 17 weeks and all but his under coat is gone. It looks like from the scruff he may be getting more hair that is lying down instead of the fullness that made him look so fluffy. Do you know if this is a stage of growth and his hair will come back?

That's not a mini aussie, that's a regular Aussie. Mini Aussie do NOT get that big at 5 months

Thanks for your comment ☺️ He’s fully grown now (2 years old! wow time flies) and you’re right, he’s about 46lbs now which is most definitely not a mini, but it’s also kinda small for a regular male aussie. So we call him an extra large mini as a running joke ahaha 😆😅
