Not unless you make it out of sight first. Might be a interesting party game of 'pick' the sushi and avoid the one with the wasabi. Hong Kong game shows consistently uses wasabi hidden in sushi as a game.
Amazing!! It looks very fun, and I loved how the mini plates turn around, (but as I told you before, I always see you food videos when I'm hungry, it isn't fair) and was so so cute when the kittie and your thumb bow at the camera, anata wa kawaii desu. >u
Just to see how easely this toy can get broken... Also the plastic needs to be washed regulary, because of the salmons... :x But hey, the small pieces of sushi look very cute. :D I can imagine this to be a fun toy for kids.
+regigiygas it really does in both cases. Actually, when you make sushi rice you cook the grains in a specific way that makes them stickier and more handleable than usual rice, but adding seasoning is a very important step too.
It's really personal preference but Camilla is right in the way it can enhance the flavour with just simple seasoning, (you can add other stuff, it might not be the traditional way to make it but there's all different variations of sushi changed by different cultures, so don't be afraid to experiment!) Also don't know why Xiao had to be rude about it lol
Cwndy I think it's using centrifugal force to compress the rice and the fish together instead of using your hands. As I understand it, even a few seconds of contact with the warmth of your hands can spoil the flavor.
I don’t understand...is the spinning part of the forming process? Some type of centripetal force (centrifugal is a pseudo-force) machine?? The device seems to do nothing, otherwise!?? It seems as though you’re doing all the work?!
So our children in the United States get stuck with an Easy Bake oven to make little cakes baked by a light bulb and Japanese kids learn to make sushi using raw fish at a young age!! Dang it!
I’m kinda confused as to what this toy actually does.. I get the little rice baller thing, but the spinning of the toy doesn’t seem to do anything other than give you something to play with... like the rice shaper already did all the work
this could make a fun party toy. put different food in each one, hide it, spin it whatever is in front of you you gotta eat

Can't they see what's inside??

Wow, this is cool :)
It is a pity that in Russia this thing is not :(
When you press the kitty several times and the bubbles flip over, what is that doing to the sushi? I can't tell from the demo.
this should come in handy!
+BlueZorua :D ya;)
Was the rice too small? Still, very cute
does adding the vinegar mixture make the rice stickier or taste better?

+regigiygas you're welcome :)
So delicious food
I'm confused. So when you press that button, all it does is just flip it around??

It’s just for fun :)

I've never had Japanese Ice Fish. There's something about seeing the eyeballs that turns me off.
Is it good?
