I recently built a light hunting rifle in 6.5-7PRC (7PRC case necked down to 6.5). The very first shot out of the gun was at 600yds on an 18" plate and it was a hit. 100% luck, just for fun. Cool video, that's a great testament to knowing your equipment and trusting the numbers!
Hi Ryan, quick question, what pic rail are you using to mount your accutac bipod? Never seen a pic rail mounted like a pigot mount before. Would love to try this on my 338. Best!
It’s just a beefy pic rail section I found on eBay. Evolution Gun Works made it. It was like 18” long and I mounted it full length and started cutting it back to where it didn’t bounce and felt solid.
Someone said you needed help hitting a dinty moore can at a mile. I think your just trying to get some paper patch bullets but my ruger american will scramble some soup.
@@RyanCheneyELR How is it any different? Add cushioning like I did. No bouncy. Unless you’re shooting in an earthquake or something. Who you thing all this Gucci shit was invented?
@@dhooter I have 15 claims on my patent how I’ve designed it to be fully adjustable yet solid as a rock under the rear of the rifle. It’s not a blood pressure cuff it’s a specially designed air wedge. Air is a pneumatic spring, others have tried to make an air adjustable bag and they all bounce. I guarantee you that your knockoff bounces, you just don’t realize it. Btw I’ve sold over 1600 of these, and they are now being used in 27 countries, and my customers are shooting better groups, making further impacts, and winning matches with my bags. I also have 4.95 stars with 135 reviews. Best of luck to you.
@@RyanCheneyELR And you can make that claim without even seeing or handling mine? I can see my impacts and splashed just as well as I can using a sand bag. These days it’s wise to figure things out yourself. I have zero interest in selling. Lots of interest in showing someone how to save a few bucks. 👍

Do you prefer a stiff stock or one that has a bit of flex in it?😊
All of my stocks are carbon fiber, I dont know how much they actually flex under recoil but I imagine not very much.
Is that the high gloss scheme on the carbon or the matte?
I actually clearcoated it with cerakotes MC161 satin clearcoat
Who builds your rifles ?
Alamo Precision

I dont need any help, lol. Just seeing how many people out there think they can.
@RyanCheneyELR I know that was my weak attempt to talk trash 🤦♂️🤣

So easy to make those bags with a cheap blood pressure cuff from the drugstore. Literally simple shit
I mean you could if you wanted a bouncy piece of shit, lol

Мишень огромная, 3 МОА, чего в нее не попасть после проверки нуля? В чем сложность то?!
With a brand new rifle there are no guarantees of what kind of speed or accuracy its going to have until the barrel settles in. Go try it yourself.
