I ended up getting a metaphor that let me spam my lib twice with bonus damage so I cleared it very fast.
taoqi can also clear depth v easily, make sure to level up her skill, weapon and character level to 60, pick bell-borne geochelone and have fun doing no damage clear
Once you get to the second last upgrade for hermit path you can prioritize damage perks. There's some neat electro ones like double R and more R damage which lets your R do upwards of 18k. With this path you will probably run past the timer but you should have survivability to tank the damage (it just takes longer to kill). Alternatively you can try going to the rider path for insane damage but you're much more squishy.
With the turtle path and AOE pull on Taoqi's charged left click you can stun-lock them indefinitely. Just make sure you quickly lock them down once they spawn in.

I was blazing through stage 5 with lvl 60 rover doing really good then got one shot for 25k from the final boss I was not familiar with its game

Yeah just play inferno rider with rover it’s actually so fun and easy

You can select them usually at the first cat. They don't swap in with u but instead they come in to cast their ultimate.
how do you inlock verina for companion? mine is always the 4 stars
I think it's random. There's a perk that lets you reroll twice which might help get Verina

I have tried it out and it seems very very very difficult. It unfortunately does not let me use Calcharo so I tried it with level 40 MC.
