Thanks for a much needed shot of motivation about this form of marketing. I'm marketing a personal trainer business, and had been disappointed with my recent foray into putting flyers on windshields around town. I got zero leads and one angry person calling to tell me to not touch their car. Which I found kinda demotivating. But yes, as you say in this video, I may have to put out 1,000 of them to see results. Speaking of angry people, do you ever get calls from homeowners griping about the door hangers? Because I think I'm going to opt for door hangers next time, rather than car windshields. But I guess I'm still a bit timid about possibly pissing people off.
@@TheWillKelly Thanks for the feedback! I think you've emboldened me to do LOTS of door hangers in affluent areas (people who hire personal trainers tend to be affluent) around town. I feel like that'll work better than placing flyers on windshields around town. And also with less chance of pissing people off I think.
Hey Will thank you for the video and speaking at landscape summit! One question: I am not good at doing door hangers but eddm works for me. And most of the neighborhoods in our service area have a sign at the entrance that says no soliciting, do you still pass out in those neighborhoods?
Sorry you said 250. Would you say the amount of time and money it takes to do that is worth it for only getting 2 leads and closing 1? I gave up on door hangers a long time ago for this same reason. Took me hours & hundreds of dollars to only get a couple of calls. Interested to see if others genuinely prefer this method of advertising over Google and other seo where the phone rings with zero effort.
Honestly Will, If they are in their garage or front porch; I steer clear. Look, I’m really really dark and I scared the hell out of this old white lady once and I can still see her reaction. So I’m not a huge fan of “walking up” on people. Just my $.02
Love 10X Rule. I'm about to read it again. It's such a great book. Great advice you have covered 👍
Yes it’s a great book!!!
Hey man, just a thought. You should look into electric scooters! You could probably double your output that way 👍
That sounds like a great idea!
LoL I'm about to do this with a motorcycle
Go for it dude, reach for the stars and looking forward to seeing your channel grow to awesome looking lawns 👌

Not really. We respect the no soliciting signs and only do it to houses that don’t have that.

how many hours and days of work do you plan for each day?
To hand out flyers or just in general to work towards moving the business forward?
Good video. When I see No soliciting, I knock on their door and often sell them. Don’t even acknowledge the damn sign lol
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the great insight!
you're welcome brother! I'm glad it was helpful

If it says no soliciting then we do not put door hangers out.
Great advice! I’m subbed
Thanks for the sub!
A lot os suburbs in Illinois asks for a permit to pass out flyers or door hangers. (Soliciting)
Yeah then you would need a badge
Nice video 👍 Those flyers look like great quality anyone we can know the website you recommend for flyers? Thanks!
Laryssa my wife made them
A shoe won't hurt what a 52" mower won't.
How many customers have to gotten off handing those out?
We have had 3 calls I believe and 1 client that has signed up. I think 1 other one is waiting on an estimate.
@@TheWillKellyhow many have you passed out?

Roughly around 1k so far. @@williamflores9501
what size are these door hangers?
I’m not entirely sure the exact dimensions. I’d say they are standard size
Howdy, what part of Texas are you located ?
Aubrey TX
yoooo i had just listened to hormozi talk about the flyer example haaahha hell yeah!!!
Absolutely!!
We switched half our ad budget to door hangers and postcards from social media and they do so much better
Glad it’s been helping!
Howdy! How many customers have you gained from handing them out?
A lot!!! We built our first location mainly off of door hangers

Makes sense, maybe holler at them from the sidewalk then before getting too close lol. Thanks for sharing!
Same bro. White people dont know the struggle lol
Putting out door hangers is considered canvassing. It is not soliciting
That's an interesting way of thinking about it!!
Just say 1%
