Wow! That is pretty cool. I am not familiar with this toy line/cartoon at all so this was a great intro. I had some robotech but that was about my extent for Japanese stuff. I had a good chunk of the megaforce stuff which was awesome. I can’t bring myself to pay the prices of it now.
Yeah it’s an amazing piece but the price is a real premium. I just find the design and engineering to be a step above anything else. And since the cobra mothership didn’t fund I had the funds already allocated…or at least that’s what I can tell myself 😁 Thanks for watching!
I know Diaclone was one of the starting points for Transformers but, this kinda has Metroplex and Fort Maximus vibes to me.

This is great for someone like you who actively plays with their toys, and has kids who play with them. I for better or for worse don't play with them I like to display them and look at them only rarely chainging their positions. So for me a toy like this would be wasted. The play features and all the customizability would go unused and unseen. It would be a large investment for little value where a masterpiece transformer just looks good on a shelf. Looking back and consdiering how I interact with my toys collecting GIJoe or Star Wars exclusively might have been a better idea since I only display the toys. I could maybe have built some fun environments and gotten better value since transformers are very expensive. Still one can't have everything and the scarcity and dearness of it all helps build aa love for one's own collection.
I look forward to seeing this toy incorporated in your future "Play Movies"
Perhaps it will be a Cobra super weapon you can integrate using forced perspective. If you 3d Print a large Cobra head in red it would totally fit the aesthetics

Yes, though I wasn't that into them. I had a few figures and some of the metal men but that's it. I remember my mom letting me pick out a figure whenever she took me to Kmart. Today I have an acroyear and a baron karza on my shelf. I should do a video on those guys. I read the comic as well. The 70s had some great stuff. Thanks for watching, Matt.

@@ActionRobotPunch thank you! Now I’m off to buy the DA-100 and my microman Daiclone collection will be complete. I was going to buy the original 1980’s action figure but not for $2500 with missing and broken parts. This version is far, far superior. I grew up in Japan I loved microman and diaclone in the late 70’s and 80’s.
