I love it when Canadians are so Canadian they're almost Irish.
@@faithbrown4554 Knows.
Pitter patter
Better let that marinate
Well we’re mostly Scottish, Irish and English. And in Ontario it’s more Irish and Scottish then English
There's a lot of Irish that settled in the upper Midwest, including Ontario, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois. Culturally, show Letterkenny is EXTREMELY Midwestern. Irish-Americans/Irish-Canadians have really taken to the show and its no surprise as to why.
Best thing ever come out the Hulu. Fer us mericans.

can confirm, super chieftain.
That’s a Texas sized 10-4 big shooter
@@ebgamez1458 over and out
The dude doing interview said it’s weird America got the humor .
As an U. S citizen letterkenny has showed me small town life is wide spread
I don't think they realize how American it is to be so insanely Canadian. 😂 (Small town girl here. 😂🙋🏼♀️)
If you go to the military most everyone from small town has figured it out.
I'm in America in a small town two hours from Listowel so I related hard
Word bro, rural South Alabama here. Letterkenny dead on, except exchange football (not futbol) for 'haw'key and really hammer the "W" in the "out" words instead of "ooot".
Very much like very rural Georgia

One of the better Keeso double takes is when I kept seeing him pop up in early seasons of Smallville.
Super fan of the show. Super thanks to Hulu bringing it to us Americans
That's what I appreciates about you ❤
Can confirm
And thanks to RUclips recommendations for bringing it to a Malaysian. Much of the cultural nuances goes over my head but I just gotta let it marinate.
Big facts just discovered it im fully addicted
Yo super chief, Canadians are American too. They live in North America.
Low brow... Hmm. It's like the highest brow low brow show ever. It is SO clever with word play, rapid fire alliteration bordering on poetry, and culture/situational dynamics. It's one of the most unique shows out there and deserves the credit it gets.
My thoughts exactly when I heard that.
I hear you, but on the other hand fartbook
@@sammay9961 That was definteily the weakesst episode. Had its funny moments, but christ I hated it

“Medium, extra husky” 🤣
I'm from the Southern US & dig the show because of how much it reminds me of growing up in small towns
YESSSSSS. My town is literally... Letterkenny South. 5000 people... and we all know eachother... its life at its best!
I'm from a town of 4000 northern California and this show is hilariously relatable to me
Grew up in a very small town in GA. Only one stop light. This shows remind me so much of home
Same! I'm from a small town of about 700 in SW Missouri and letterkenny represents the small town feel very well lol
Same. Reminds me of my small town and surrounding small towns in Alabama.
One American who loves Letterkenny - check
European here. I bet we can do all continents!
Texas here, love the show.
Iowa/California.
Michigan here. Favorite show I've seen in years.

Jared has got one of the most purest Canadian accent I've ever heard in my entire life
Whatcha Try'n ta say there Eh?
Accent? I’m from the Listowel area... I don’t have an accent do I ? 🤭🇨🇦💜
...whole entire life?
sounds kinda newfie
*Eastern Canadian
We sound nothing like this in the west really... Though we have enough Newfies out here you'd never know it. Haha
I'm from Listowel, and I remember when Jared came and spoke to my drama class. One of my best memories.
thats sounds awesome.
OMG how did you hold it together? He's so freaking handsome
So jealous!
You have the exact same name as my Oklahoma drama teacher
I grew up in Listowel with Jared. My friends parents worked at this families saw mill, Went to the same public school and high school as him.Go Lightning! Go Cyclones!
I grew up in a town about the same size as Letterkenny in Australia, and this show is still so accurate. There's something about small country towns that Jared has been able to capture so perfectly. Love from Australia!!!
Small towns are the same no matter where. I grew up in a small town in the states. The jokes resonate.
@@FXIIBeaver Bad gas travels fast in a small town, indeed

I grew up in the same city that the show is shot in (Sudbury - and Im actually from a small town 10 minutes outside with a population of 6k). And its hard to believe its not based entirely on our lives here. But knowing you feel the same is what makes this show magical - it gets small town life.
"Nice field of wheat there"
"That's barley"
This kills me! Ahahaha!!!
That Craig Gibson impersonating was bang on.
"Look all these piles of straw!"
"That's hay."
"Then what's this?"
"Straw."

Thank god this series came to the U.S. you’ll never see another show in the history of television that’ll have the perfect cast with perfect chemistry like Letterkenny. Absolute masterpiece.
don't forget about TPB!
With JRoc a part I’m praying for a crossover of some kind..🤞
I’m straight, but every time I see Jared Keeso I can’t help but think to myself, “god damn that is a handsome man.” 😂
I'm ace and I couldn't agree more.
Hearing Keeso talk about Summer Heights High and the huge Australian Letterkenny following makes so much sense. Canada has always been North North Australia to me and the humour has always translated so well.
Australia bas always been South South Canada acctualy
So happy hulu picked this up. American, Oregonian here and this show applies to all countries,
Love it. Gotta say shoresy has me rolling everytime hes on.
Shoresy is hands down the best chirper
Can confirm. This show resonates here in Louisiana as well.
Fun fact jared plays shorsey
Shorsey sounds like a leprechaun 😂

The small town Ontario accent and the Newfie accent in a conversation is why I love my country
The Newfie accent sounds downright Irish to me.

How do you get it in Australia?
I was one of those American's that "procured" access to the show early on in a manner that is questionable, but that's only because it was literally unavailable every other way. Then, Hulu picked up and I re-binged the entire show. Have turned a lot of my fellow Texans on to the show over the years.
Ayeee. Us Texans aren’t hard to turn on to this show are we lol. All I ever gotta say is: “Just watch the first scene,.”
ALLEGEDLY questionable
Another Texan here that mysteriously found the show. We could almost word for word repeat the show.
I hadn’t even heard of the show until I found a few clips on RUclips a couple of weeks ago. I have since watched all 9 seasons twice in the last two week.
I'm in PA and the same story. I heard about it and saw a few "shorts" on youtube and had to get it the questionable way until Hulu finally picked it up! Freakin love it and got a bunch of friends hooked on it too!
This show is extremely relatable to us West Virginians. Goes to show how deep the Irish/Scottish heritage runs

Dudd, Settle down there squirlly Dan. :) Being my parents emigrated from England after the War II I grew up with the same, Benny Hill, Two Ronnies, Some Mothers Do "ave'm", and the Carry On movies. Much of Canadian comedy can find its roots in British comedy. Love this show. Welcome England!!

It really makes me think of the fight at the season 1 finale differently!
Really if u hear what he's saying is that most things aren't bullying, there is a line. Our society has just turned everything into bullying unfortunately. Most everything we did as kids was exactly chirping nothing else. Nowadays people can't even handle that, that's why this show is awesome truly
Letterkenny got me through my deployment. I love this show!
Just seeing your comment now, but same here super chief 🤙👍
The show that he mentions 'Summer Heights High' is Australian and it's one of the funniest shows ever. We Australians get this humor and this show is so funny. Canada has some good comedy. Schitts creek is another great show.

BIG fan from sweden here, found out about the show 500 years after everyone else. But it took me three days of sickness to go through 12 seasons, it is just magical and super unique. A major hats off!!!
Blowin away by this dude. I am grateful for his Canadian and especially Ontario representation!!! Not very often that you can enjoy entertainment and picture it as it is less than an hour away from where you live your life.
Australians like myself are watching the first two seasons on SBS on Demand (the SBS channel's official online streaming channel). Only seasons 1-2 are on there but I hope we can see more seasons soon.
Now we're up to season 7 just missing 8!
Letterkenny season11, still going strong. It's resonating with people all over. Sweden chirping in: nice ginger trimmed beard there Jar-jar.
I am a German living in Sweden. I somehow found the show and love it.
Absolutely love this show, and I'd always heard that Canadian and Aussie humour sometimes can be quite similar and I loved this show. A lot of the humour is so relatable, just different accents. Also love Keeso, he's a legend!

I'm down here in the Panhandle of Florida and love the show. It speaks to small town America.
I just stumbled across this show last week on Hulu and my son and I are binge watching 11seasons. It’s kind of our thing, bonding over certain shows cause we have the same sense of humor. I absolutely loved shoresy as well. ♥️
It’s so weird to see him not squint...
Well Dr. House eventually developed a limp...
I've pertnear watched all six seasons 15 times since Hulu aired it.
Yep, we Aussies also can get Letterkenny, and it's fully legal too! One of our government stations streams it free of charge, plus reruns are broadcast on tv. Characters are so relatable to us. Plus, the patriotic love of Canada geeses is on par with our deadly range of vicious birds.
But it’s the Canada Goose that’s the envy of all ornithological creatures 😉
I’m from New Zealand, and I LOVE this show.
I’d bet every Kiwi would get the humour.
I'm from NZ too...keep trying to get my friends to watch it, it's awesome as
In Australia, SBS started streaming it. The first scene I saw from letterkenny was Squirrely Dan, Wayne and Darryl talking to the 3 girls in Letterkenny vs Penny. I thought it was just gonna be a series of filthy jokes continuously but it's really not. There's a lot more heart than I thought there would be and it was amazing. I thought Letterkenny was a masterpiece, but Shoresy (the tv show) was wayyyyy more legendary imo
Tom's Newfie accent came out more and more throughout the interview XD

The best part of this interview is that they have mutual friends haha! So Canadian
