The new weapons, interesting game dynamics, and extremely spellbinding visual effects rejuvenate the game's appearance and give it a new lease of life like no other mod has been capable of doing so. Please, keep it up until it's finished. If we ever get to play it in its final version, I'm sure it'd be on a par with "Black Mesa" as far as quality is concerned. Cheers!
I'm looking for this version.. Do you still have this version? Because I like the AR 2's reload animation like this (corresponds to HL:A's Pulse SMG). Alternatively, you can also make some AR2 gun-specific animation mods as a player's choice.
First of all this mod looks amazing, thanks so much for putting in the effort and keeping Half-Life alive, I've been looking for a mod like this for ages and completely missed this, also appreciate the amount of customization the mod allows. Now this might be a stupid thing to ask, but I was looking through the list of things you can enable and disable on ModDB and I was wondering whether there could be an option to disable the duel wielding or a few of the new weapons? All good if you can't I just personally think I'd prefer Half-Life without but to each their own. Again keep up the great work

@@mredgeworth4428, you need to know C++ coding and know, how to coding escpecially in Source, maybe. I only know, that you need a source code of combine soldier (npc_combine.cpp). In this C++ file you can find a line(s) of code about antlions damage. Source code of hl2 (and episodes) you can find in github. Just type something like "source sdk 2013 source code github".
This is pretty damn awesome looking, but the flames after explosions look a little unnatural to me. I think they linger a little too long, speed up the flame animation a little more on them and I think it would look more natural. High pressure explosions like that would throw the flames outward rather than linger for half a second. Maybe its just me but keep up this awesome work!
I HAVE ONLY 1 REQUEST OF THIS MOD: (outside of it looking amazing, good job so far) All I want is the ability to bring the Rollermine from Eli's Lab to the end of the game.
I have a question, is this mod purely visual changes, or does it add any gameplay elements/changes? I'm hoping for the latter, but the former is alright too!
I aim for both, right now I have more immersive camera, new weapons ( npcs can and will use them) , smarter combine soldiers ( can jump on/off ledges, can shoot smg1/oicw grenades/aim and accuracy greatly improved, normal combine soldiers can shoot combine balls), you have a choice between hitscan and pseudo physical bullets ( more on that later down the line), optional smart health regeneration to offset new difficulty level, there will be more gameplay changes later, like simple gore/dismemberment mechanics and maybe new npc's or variations of them.

Looks amazing but it's really easy to tell that every grenade explosion uses the same fireball animation. Might want to make it less distinct looking or add a few more.
