You can feel the exact position of the drill spots underneath the sticker on the inside, they are pre-moulded. Just in case you don‘t want to use the template. Nice work though!
Mine didn't even come with the sticker and you could clearly see the drill spots, but you feel skeptical about it since it does not say in the instructions. I did the same way as well. They should include it in the installation instructions.
