When hakoe started talking about how God is always with us even in hard times, i started crying because i needed to hear that. God can use kids to speak to us. Keep growing in the Lord, Hakoe.

When Hakoe got emotional about homeless people I also got emotional because I feel the same every day when I see people on the street without shelter.
My son gone missing on 14 July 2018 even now I don't know how is he survives where ever he is😭😭

I don't have a child of my own but my siblings do and this right here made me realize that we (me and probably my siblings) haven't been treating the kids so well. I feel many a times parents invalidate their kid's feelings, they expect kids to behave in a certain way (selfishness) but never take a chance to understand the kids side.

HAKOE! I'm so emotional because she's living my inner child's dream. I'm only learning now that it's okay to express and be sensitive because for the most part, I was silenced. Even worse, these matured views she has I also had and wished to express but knew I'd be told of my little position. If I dare attempted to, still I'd be told of my child position. I'm glad you're allowing her to speak and be free. I wish more parents listen to this and understand HAKOE as a mirror of their own children's feelings. They listen, even better when not shouted at or threatened. We can do away with our mothers/ parent's parenting styles. It never was for us nor will be for any child. I remember feeling small, as I was, feeling like a failure. Like I messed up big time from the shoutings of a merely broken cup and the mistrust therefrom.

I missed some of those steps growing up and my resolve is that none of our children and grandchildren will miss this balanced growth, including being able to talk our home language. Our heart desjre is that they should have compassion for the needy as Hakoe is. Jesus is our role model. We bless God for the Makhethas who are raising such lovely daughters.
