I bought a second hand colbor w100 light and just bought a Sirui C150X, which arrives next week. After I buy a power bank I will see which system I can work with. Saludos de Peru

Hello Sirui. My question is, if I have a powerful mount battery such as the Core 150 G3 which deliver 20 amps continuous output, will the CX150 be able to go to 100-% brightness and stay there? Thx.
@@WINDSHEAR-STUDIO Hello, could you please confirm the voltage of your Core 150 G3 battery? If the D-tap output voltage is higher than 20.4V, the CX150 will be able to operate at 100% brightness at full power. Let us know if you need further assistance!
@@SIRUIImagingthe Core G3 runs at 14.4 volts and a constant 20 amp draw. I’m no expert, but these lights usually need lots of current to operate with stability. This battery should have enough current. Maybe you can tell me if 14.4 volts is enough to keep the Sirui 150 lit for a while.
I just bought the C150X combo. I love how small, light and bright it is. For me, I needed something on the go for smaller shoots that dont require more powerful lights. This light will get a lot of use and ill probably buy another!
Thank you for the review and comparison of the lights. Would you recommend any of these for a video calls and meetings? If yes, with a lantern or octagonal soft box?
Big respect to Zhiyun for dropping the CX100 at a good price without the unnecessary bells and whistles. A truly compact 100 Watt light that can fit in my coat pocket with its battery and can be lit up anywhere in the same form factor up to 100%. Also has the option to be customised with the Bowens mount adapter.
I was about to purchase the Sirui but many reviewers talked about the build quality of it. Glad i decided to wait for the ML100BI to be available at B&H. Just got it yesterday and MAN that thin is powerful and very well built. Is 30Watts less than the Sirui but for filming outside the studio is more than enough, i don't need a football stadium-type of light for portable filming.
I recently got two Sirui C150X while they were on deal! absolutely brilliant! I also own Amaran 100x, 200x, 200d, Sirui T120 X 4. The C150X are awesome for out door shooting with v-mounts (I dont get full power, but they have been perfect for my needs) they nice and small and pack well into my bag pack.
For 30w-ish power, it may have to be between the Sirui and Colbor. You are able to completely kill the Sirui’s fan but that only allows you up to 10% which is 15w as its a 150w light. I have not mentioned the Godox because you can't adjust the fan speed, its automatic. And it comes on and then comes off by itself. But I would go with the Sirui just because of the build quality. I think the Colbor is noiser
Do you know how this light compares to the colbor cl100x or colbor cl100xm. Also considering the fan noise or light indexes? Hard to find any info on why to pick one over the other. I hope you can help.
Thanks for your video however would like to point out a little detail on your video. I have the Godox ml100 and I think the specs you posted is wrong. It’s a square shaped light but your specs is very rectangular. I measured myself on my own ml100 light. It’s approx L125mm x W115mm x Depth 55mm. The weight is also wrong, and according to website (I don’t have a scale to weigh my own light), it 487g. Other than that, I love my ML100bi because of its form factor.
I weighed mine without any extras just the light itself. Infact I weighed all three stripped down. Maybe my scale is off. The only thing I didn’t do was measure them. But when you carry them the Godox feels the heaviest. Thank for your input. The Godox looks cute 😊
Guys, which would you buy?

This is exactly the video I was looking for, thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for putting this comparison together, leaning more towards the C150x personally
Thank you

I actually used it for a few months, I found that C150X can completely dispel doubts
@@goodok-k9x I'm using my ML100 with a powerbank at 30% of its capacity and still is more than enough for me.
Dude! Best video on mini lights I've seen so far.
🙏🏽 thank you
Great details in review. Now, light up my photography with a win.
The best channel ive seen in youtube, one more subscribe

Thank you for the great review. 🎉
You're welcome
I love your video! Good job, bro.
A much needed Comparison!

Nice video. How about Zhiyun bro?
Unfortunately I don’t have the zhiyun version

I haven't tried or used the Colbor cl100x but from looking at it I am sure the cl100x is more durable and heavier in weight. I hope that helps

can you enumerate from brightest?
C150X - 1
ML100Bi - 2
W100 - 3
ML vs Sirui, if i run off powerbank?
@@frosti7 yes
i dont know how you get the colbor at 100% with a 14v V lock
Have you tried it using a V-mount battery via d-tap?
@@YourFilmmaker Thanks for your answer :)
No only usb c / usb c . D tap to usbc would work at 100% ? Or to DC?
D tap to DC
@@YourFilmmaker thanks a lot!!! if you have a reference that would be perfect, in any cases thanks a lot for answering
Watch Gaffer & Gear review on the Sirui light. You might change your mind 👎
i hate all these channels none of them show you how bright are for real :(. just take a photo to these leds at 100% with same camera settings
I have videos on each individual one of these lights on my channel I hope I helped
