Why did you install leaf guards on the downspouts? I do not see any trees in sight. I have most of my gutters plumbed into 4" PVC, have a few trees around and have not had any issues with pipes plugging up. I find leaves at the base of the pipes sometimes, the smooth pvc pipe is good for self cleaning. I am in northeast NC, it is all flat swamp land here. It is interesting to see an area where you can dig into a hill side. Around here, you dig down 2' and hit water.
Hey man! ive watched the full build of your place and i love it! my wife and i plan to build ours next year here in Middleton Idaho. Who did you use for financing? seems nobody likes to finance barndo style homes :/
Christian, I understand that the water coming off your roof will be led away from the house via the buried pipe, but what about the rainwater that comes off the hill behind the house?
You never really fathom the amount of dirt there is until you see something like this. Wow, that's a lot of earth. Well-done, Christian!
Thank you!
Keep the vids coming Christian! Love what you’re working towards and keen to see how it all pans out. ✌🏻🇦🇺
Thank you!
Great vid young fella 🇦🇺

Thats a lot of earth moved!
But man I hope you have plans to plant like a few hundred trees, I imagine you get a lot of wind
