You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. We post new content every Tuesday 7am PST. Hope you join us on more adventures. Oh, it’s the music that made it! 😂
You are in heaven!!! Wow what a beautiful place!!! Loved all the rocks and those carvings were really cool. Steve has a Tonto shirt, haha. Thanks for taking me along.
Happy you joined us Chris. Yes it certainly was heavenly. There was so much more to see and explore. Definitely one we recommend pinning. See you for another explore next Tuesday.
Well, this this just so cool, I am sure to explore. So beautiful the waterfalls and the bear caves are just amazing. The formations of the rocks and all. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. Be careful and have safe travels. 🥰💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Hi there, Stephen & Andrea. Very photogenic area and very well maintained. The Centipede has fairly strong venom and I have encountered some over 6 inches long! At 8:07, that is a woodworking clamp called a Shaving Horse for clamping pieces of wood with your legs and feet leaving your hands free for shaping the wood! Sit on right side of structure and push with feet on angled lever underneath the Horse to clamp the wood in place. Very smart people of the’Time’!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit Diane, in fact we are planning to go back and do some more exploring when we can! Thank you so much for enjoying these explores with us!
Arkansas is definitely underrated. We loved it there. Great free camping, great people and incredible places to explore. Petit Jean is definitely one you should pin.
What a gorgeous trip this was. One of the most beautiful. The rock steps throughout were amazing. Mother Nature at her very best. Thank you Andrea and Steve for this one.
Hello Andrea and Steven. It has been a long time since I have been able to watch your videos. I had to get a new phone and just so busy with home life this is the first time I've had time to catch up with your Videos.
Hi Merry. Glad you could join us. Life happens that way, but hopefully now you can have some time to relax . We’re still here posting every Tuesday. ❤️
"Hi Steve and Andrea, thanks for sharing this stunningly beautiful scenery, complete with a romantic story. Some of the fantastic rock formations reminded me of Sarah's Crack, (although I can't remember where that was!). Spectacular panoramic view from Petit Jean's resting place, with what I imagine is the Arkansas River in the background. (I had a look at the Petit Jean State Park website.) Great stuff! (Re-posted after it was accidentally disappeared by RUclips)"
Yay Brian. This time it came through! Petit Jean certainly is one of the most stunning areas we have explored and we most definitely recommend you pinning it. Sara’s Crack is in Arizona just outside Lake Havasu. Glad you enjoyed our explore and thanks for emailing us informing us that YT deleted your comment!! See you on our next adventure. Remember we post every Tuesday 7am PST. Just in case YT decides not to notify you or unsubscribe you which has been happening a lot recently!!
I'm from Arkansas and have been here many times. The story is sad. The falls are beautiful there is a way down to it. Just a sad story, but a beautiful and respectful grave sight.
We thoroughly enjoyed our hikes and excursions here. A beautiful place and yes a sad story. Thank you for your comment and hope you continue to enjoy our explores.
There's always prethought and preparation, before you explore an area. I appreciate that very much, Andrea and Steven. This one was no different. Thank you for always giving us the best visuals, while providing us with the explanations and information to bring them to life. 👏👏☀️ (I totally understand it, when you stumble on something, and have no knowledge of it. That's a different scenario. I think of that as a bonus.🎉) It's an absolutely gorgeous setting, and it must have been teeming with life, at one time, but there is a certain bit of melancholy about the place. Thank you once again, for another winner, Andrea and Steven. 🌲💧🌸🌲🏵💧 🌺🌲🌼💧🌲
Thank you so much Rhonda, yes we always try our best to make the best type of video we can with history, camera placement story telling and so on. We still have a long way to go, but we are thoroughly enjoying the ride and all of the wonderful, thoughtful and encouraging comments like yours. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts. It truly means a great deal to us!
Hi Carmen. Thanks for your comment. Petit Jean is one of our favourite places. You could spend weeks there exploring. We post new content every Tuesday. Hope you join us on more adventures.
WOW! This place has got to go on my bucket list! Without you two beautiful souls, folks like me would never see the wonders of the world like this. Amazing place. Thank you so, so much for sharing your pins 📌 Stay safe and take care. See you next Tuesday! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
I could look south across the valley from the mountain I lived on and see Petit Jean. I've been up there a few time. There are many beautiful places to see in Arkansas. :)
Magical and enchanted place. So peaceful and majestic, almost surreal. Can feel the strong sense of spirit which roams those caves and hills. Loved seeing the millipede … I always stop and examine bugs. Love them. Great seeing Tonto on the back of Steve’s shirt. Appreciated seeing my name come up 🎉 Your vids vibe with me. Thanks guys !
Ahhh thank you so much Bernardo for your kind words. Happy you enjoyed this magical place with us. You could spend weeks hiking the trails and exploring. So much to see. See you on our next adventure next Tuesday.
@@PinInTheAtlas Only a certain section of the area near the Bear Cave. Even before you mentioned about how other people felt. I did felt some sections were good too! It was heaviness feeling. I can't explain it.
We’re doing fine although finding places to film is getting more challenging. Have a nice cup of tea after a long days work. It has healing properties! And tastes great 👍 Yes I did like the other comment 😃
What a cool place. I was going to suggest that bench might be a "Coopers bench", but after hearing of eight kids born there, maybe it doubled as a birthing table.🙂 Sure had some mighty purdy scenery. You could live off the land there for a long time. I'll file that away. May need that info someday. Great job filming and editing. Y'all impress me more and more every week. See ya next week. Watch out for the remnants of Hilary. Especially after filming from her location. Just when we thought she was gone. Well, Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned. Peace!
It certainly was an amazing place Richard. Beautiful scenery. I guess it could have doubled as a birthing table for the 5 kids born there. How did they all fit! See you next week lovely 😊
Well you blokes have done it again, what a fascinating place with some great history, shame about the resting place of Petit Jane but what do you expect from the idiots we have to put up with today, your camera work is really great and thoughtful so keep it up, Cheers
Think I've seen them before, but do you guys have new shoes/boots? Older ones got worn down? You do clock up a pretty amount of paces on your adventures :-)
Yes they are relatively new footwear. Got them back in March. We do tend to abuse them pretty quickly with the places we venture haven’t quite yet found the comfort/cost/longevity pair we both like.
