She’s has an incredible voice! She couldn’t get a label to listen to her true musical abilities, so she created Lady Gaga (from Queen song lyrics) and released eye catching pop songs! They weren’t to my taste either, but once she established her fame, she went on to create and/or perform the kind of music she’d always loved. Her duets with famed Tony Bennett were so nostalgic and beautiful! He continued to sing with her even after he had dementia and couldn’t talk but could still remember lyrics. He died few years ago in his 90s. Bradly Cooper had to learn to sing and play the guitar for this movie. GAGA wrote several songs for this film. This one got the Academy Award for Best Original Song, though there are couple of others in the movie that she wrote I thought were even better.
It's important to remember that "Lady Gaga" is a kind of caricature - an over-the-top stage persona. The "original" original starred Judy Garland and James Mason as well... Striesand and Kristofferson is the 2nd remake ( just an interesting fact, not correction. ) 😊

The original movie had Judy Garland (Dorothy from "The Wizard Of Oz"), and decades later there was a remake with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. This is the third version of that story.
You should start a playlist of cool slower tunes to listen to occasionally when you’re in a certain mood. And definitely go for acting, singing, playing in a band, just whatever you dream of doing! You’re young and the world is your oyster. Go for it! If you don’t make it, at least you gave it your best shot and you won’t spend the rest of your life wondering what could have been.
I've seen both "A Star is Born" movies. First one stars Chis Christofferson and Barbara Streisand. He's a country western singer/actor and she's one of the most incredible voices you'll ever hear. She's also an incredible actor. Tons of awards...She's an icon.. Both movies are outstanding. If you started a movie channel we'd follow you there. You are why most of us follow your channel. We love music regardless of genres and an appreciation for artists and artistic expression crosses over to all sorts of mediums. Go after your dreams. You've got what it takes to make them happen. 🤩💫🌟
I recommend watching the film. It's really good. Both lead actors are phenomenal. But, I also recommend the Lady Gaga documentary from about six years ago. It's a really good glimpse into how hard she works, while living with a chronic illness. Both great watches.
She’s incredibly talented. As is Cooper. She’s performed our national anthem twice that I know of and it brought tears to my eyes both times I watched her. She’s an incredibly talented and beautiful woman.
A lot of actors can sing, a lot of singers can act. Look at all the talent in 'The Commitments '. And Glen Hansard winning an Oscar with Marketa Irglova 😮😮
It's a movie to watch with your girl. It's the story of a famous musician on a downhill track in the music business that comes across a talented woman who he falls in love with and tries to bring into the music industry. It's a beautiful gut wrenching story and the performances are incredible.
You have to see their Oscar performance and the clip of Lady Gaga bringing Bradley Cooper on stage from the audience at one of her concerts to sing "Shallow" live together. 🤩
Lady Gaga is a smart, clever, marketing strategist. She has written so many original songs that have made it into the top 10 on the charts. She is classically trained. She plays the piano like a demon on fire. She has a voice that is chameleon like. Don’t worry what others say about the videos you are investigating. You are doing something very unique and clever as well. Reacting to music going back to the 60s, highlights your intelligence and passion about music. All of these songs are the roots of the current music you and your peers know and love. Musicians will always tell you who were the bands and the music they listened to that influenced their art. Some of this testimony is surprising. Many guitar players listened to old-time black songs from the south, a rich treasure of material worth checking. There is a movie called “This Might Get Loud.” It features, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin, the Edge from U2, and Jack White from The White Stripes. They all talk about what influenced them, and how they look at their guitar playing and their music now. Page explains how he thought up some of the riffs for Zepplin songs. The Edge shows how he makes his guitar sound like four or five of them playing. And Jack White creates a rudimentary guitar out of spare parts and a Coke bottle. Worth watching.
Lucas Nelson, Willie Nelson's son, taught Bradley to play the guitar for the movie. He was also in the movie. Lucas has a band called, the Promise of the Real.
Lady Gaga may be weird but I love that about her. She’s a wonderful performer but an even better songwriter. If you pay attention to her lyrics, she’s amazing. She’s a generational talent.
This is a beautiful song and you should never think about what other people might think about you. This is YOUR channel and you decide which songs you want to react to! Looking forward to more reactions!
I'm not a real pop listener, but whenever I stumble onto a song by Lady Gaga, I really enjoy it. Gaga is a true talent and seems to be a genuinely good person. It's cool to me how much attention she originally got from the gimmicky stuff she did, only to prove that her talent alone was enough to keep her in the limelight. As for the movie, I wondered if Gaga & Cooper could hold their own against the powerful vocals of Streisand & Kristofferson. They did very well, and I have watched the movie multiple times. Can’t wait to see your reaction to this, MB. 😊
Not only is she great with her own songs, lots of other pop artists benefited from her as a composer before she became famous. In a sense she reminds me of Sia
Great music should put you in your feels - could be joy, could be wonder, could be sad and longing. Good music is always about emotion. Listen to everything!!
Aye - music is art, and art is subjective. But the thing about music is an ability to create an emotive response. Good music does that. And sometimes bad music can do it as well. The connection one gets from listening can literally last a lifetime. Cheers from Oz 🦘

There have been four “A Star is Born” movies, all great. First was Frederic March and Janet Gaynor (1937), then James Mason and Judy Garland (the forties), then Kris Kristopherson and Barbra Streisand (80s), then this one. All with the same theme..he is a fading star, she is a rising star, ❤

Pentatonix does an INCREDIBLE version of this. Of course, Pentatonix does an incredible version of everything. Btw - there are 5 versions of “A Star is Born”. It’s about a young enjenue who gets involved with an older man who’s at the end of his career and an addict. It ends tragically. Also, watch the Oscar performance of this. It won .

Hey MB, don't apologise for doing reactions that don't align with your original stuff....this is a music journey and it is obvious that you have a pull to the heavier stuff BUT you seem to be just as pulled to the greats as well and there is a reason that these other bands are huge....it is because they are talented and produce amazing music and you are being drawn to talent and amazing music. Keep enjoying the variety, if you don't like something you won't go back for more and keep enjoying what resonates. We all love that you feel the music and that you can see value in music that might not be your wheelhouse but is still listen worthy. They are waffling so you keep flying towards your 100!!!!!
Bradely Cooper didn’t just act direct & produce this movie, he also wrote the music. He shocked a lot of people with his singing. During production and when it was first out everyone thought those two had started an affair (he was married at the time) because the love just blazes on screen

A star is born has been made several times since the 30s. Basic plot, young woman meets successful artist, wants to be artist but shy, man brings her out and encourages her. She becomes huge. He falls apart. The end. This particular song is the moment when the man finally gets her out on stage.
So.... For the longest time I avoided Lady Gaga because I, am a metalhead for the most part. However, I do have my guilty pleasures that for the longest time I kept to myself. I'm a bit more open about them now because I gotta give respect where giving respect is due. I thought she had a good voice for sure but it wasn't until I heard her perform "The Sound Of Music" live on....whatever award show it was. But dude.... The absolute beauty of her voice literally had me in tears! Chills from the very top of my head going all the way down to my toes in waves. I replayed it so many times and cried damn near every time.
People need to chill and expand their horizons if they complain about you watching anything. I mean get real, it's a reaction channel people! Sheesh. I think that the character in Cooper's imperfect vocal adds a lot to the song.
Look, I’m definitely a big metal fan. But this song every time I hear it, brings a tear to my eyes🥲
I love it🙏🏽
He plays an established artist discovering an aspiring artist. I heard (may not be true) that he learned to play guitar for this role, but he kills it. The whole soundtrack is killer! Do not limit yourself to not doing something like this, again. Great reaction!
She looks and sounds amazing here, as does Bradley
When she kicks it up
And belts it out she always brings me to tears!
Goosebumps and shivers every time
Spine...shattered....❤
@@marybrant9586hi , if you want to watch a different rendition of this song also sung beautifully listen to Floor Jansen sing it on a Dutch show called Beste Zengers , I’m sure you will like it 🙃
Lady Gaga’s amazing. A genuine artist and all of her stuff is interesting. Nothing wrong with being weird, most of the rock stars you react to are weird. She said it herself at some point, ‘If I was a guy, you’d just say I was a rock star’.
When you watch "A Star Is Born," be prepared to be in your feels before it's over.
That's an understatement, huh?! This movie will have you bawling! My favorite of the 3 versions, which I didn't expect
The movie is pretty devastating actually
And A Star is born with Barbara Streisand!
Yes, definitely a “feels” movie…and SO good! Phenomenal acting and soundtrack.
@MollyboyTV Cuddle up with Storm on a rainy evening and watch this movie. You won’t regret it, I promise 👍💐
I was not prepared, but in a weird way..I'm glad because I really felt ...I can't explain.
Love the song. It's beautiful.
It's from the remake of the movie "A Star Is Born". Worth watching 👍🏼
She can sing!
👍 yes, the original 'A Star Is Born' with Barbra Streisand & Kris Kristofferson (recently died - excellent singer, song writer & actor (Convoy)) was a film that if you've ever been close to someone with a drink problem gets your heart every time you watch it 😥 ...i've not really watched this version
The "original" original starred Judy Garland and James Mason as well... Striesand and Kristofferson is the 2nd remake ( just an interesting fact, not correction. ) 😊
@@beccaOC-5634 oh i never knew, haven't seen that one either 😊👍
Lady Gaga sings standards with Tony Bennett and blows it out of the park.
Don’t shy away from any song or music that interests you! We love that you are exploring many different eras and types of music!
There’s another female artist we haven’t introduced to you yet :
KAREN CARPENTER
her voice is so clear and pitch perfect and warm sounding.
Look up The Carpenters
it’ was her and her brother
1. We’ve Only Just Begun
2. Close To You
3. Rainy Days and Mondays
4. Superstar
also great instruments and harmonies!!
And she was an amazing drummer!
Have you heard her cover of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina " ? Absolutely stunning.
@@03louis Link please? The only one I see on youtube is mislabeled as Lady Gaga, but the voice is actually Patti Lupone.

Lady Gaga was a bit weird? A bit??? HAHA SHE WAS ALL THE KIND OF WEIRDNESS WE NEED AND LOVE! This song is the most awarded song in history!!! It won an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA, Golden Globe etc. Listen to her new single "Disease"
Love your reaction videos, I like your openness to hear different genres and artists.
MollyBoy your musical evolution has been truly interesting and I've really enjoyed your growth as a human. To some, your evolved mind might just make you weird. Keep your growth positive brotha! You inspire
The original movie had Judy Garland (Dorothy from "The Wizard Of Oz"), and decades later there was a remake with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. This is the third version of that story.
Actually, it's the fourth iteration. The original came out in 1937 and starred Janet Gaynor and Frederic March.
Judy Garland & James Mason were in the first A Star Is Born, 1954
@deborahwalker1329 ohhhh that's right.
A bit before my time but I love the old b&w films. Might have to find that one.
@@deborahwalker1329first Star is born was in 1937, with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March.
Lady Gagas voice is amazing , she’s very talented
A lot of actors can sing, a lot of singers can act.
Look at all the talent in 'The Commitments '.
And Glen Hansard winning an Oscar with Marketa Irglova 😮😮
MB really needs to watch The Commitments!
gotta listen/react to “always remember us this way” from the same movie ☺️
It's a movie to watch with your girl. It's the story of a famous musician on a downhill track in the music business that comes across a talented woman who he falls in love with and tries to bring into the music industry. It's a beautiful gut wrenching story and the performances are incredible.
You have to see their Oscar performance and the clip of Lady Gaga bringing Bradley Cooper on stage from the audience at one of her concerts to sing "Shallow" live together. 🤩
Lady Gaga has the best voice in current pop music. No question
Actually she wasn't classically trained as a vocalist.
You shouldn't limit your music just because some people don't like it. It's ok to love all kinds of different music.
I'm a rocker but I respect lady gaga talent..some decent songs too
Bradly Cooper can do EVERYTHING. Amazing human being and Gaga is no slouch either.
Lady GaGa is always good to listen to.❤🎉❤🎉❤
Dude you've GOT TO SEE THAT FILM.... I promise you'll absolutely love it... It's beautiful❤
Movie reaction next? YES PLEASE.
This movie changed me forever.
After seeing this movie I was stunned to hear just how talented she is. You really need to watch this movie.
Nothing more than the most awarded song in history
Great music should put you in your feels - could be joy, could be wonder, could be sad and longing. Good music is always about emotion. Listen to everything!!
Aye - music is art, and art is subjective. But the thing about music is an ability to create an emotive response. Good music does that. And sometimes bad music can do it as well. The connection one gets from listening can literally last a lifetime.
Cheers from Oz 🦘
hello everyone, it seems that most of us, we lived our madness as young people in the 80s and 90s and no one helped us in any way, so from today onwards we are all going to do what no one did to us, let's all like everyone Molly's videos and let's like the page, a hug to everyone and to you Molly

@@tjrivers wow I did not know that. Cool
This is the fourth version that I know of the movie A Star Is Born. 1937, 1954, 1976, and this one.
Who the hell is being negative towards this wonderful reactor? I’m not his mom, but I’m about to get all “Mama-Bear” on somebody or bodies. If you don’t like something, go on your merry way and don’t let the door hit you on the @$$ on your way out 😡😡😡
I can't wait for this. Her voice is beautiful and able to be perfect in any genre she sings.
She is an amazing singer very talented and a great movie!
The movie originally came out in the 1930s, was remade in the fifties with Judy Garland and James Mason, and again in the late seventies with Barbara Streisand ad Kris Kristofferson. This song is from the fourth remake.
Love this song makes hairs neck stand up
Pentatonix does an INCREDIBLE version of this.
Of course, Pentatonix does an incredible version of everything.
Btw - there are 5 versions of “A Star is Born”. It’s about a young enjenue who gets involved with an older man who’s at the end of his career and an addict. It ends tragically.
Also, watch the Oscar performance of this. It won .
I think my comment got lost but even tho out of your genre, check out Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. They sound great together, both great in their way. If im not into a particular song, i just dont watch/listen. Its YOUR channel. Thank you for any reactions you do! ❤
Personally this song gives me chills every time I listen to it! great vibes
Give her a chance... I found out she's not just 'weird' - actually quite talented. Definitely watch the movie! When are you starting a movie reaction channel??? 🥰
I don’t know if I’ll ever actually start one. Who knows though, we never know what’s around the corner
She’s also on American horror story, she’s good
@@MollyBoyTV Imagine TWO channels with 100k! 😁
The story of A Star is Born has been adapted into film five times, including four distinct remakes and one television adaptation:
1937: The original film starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March
1951: A television adaptation starring Kathleen Crowley and Conrad Nagel
1954: A remake starring Judy Garland and James Mason, filmed in Technicolor and CinemaScope
1976: A reimagining starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson that focuses on the music industry
2018: A remake starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper that emphasizes conversation and little moments
Definitely watch the film... its such a great movie... its not about her life dont worry its just a movie. They are both great actors and yeah didn't know he could sing like that as well its brilliant.
My middle brother looks like Bradley Cooper. It's fun to see him in anything because i don't see my brother very often.
Lady Gaga has a great voice!!
One year she had a special on around thanksgiving and she sang regular songs ( sorry guys) and her voice is beautiful!!!
Feels can be pushed away with music. It's the magic potion!
I tuned in to this for you, brother. This song gets played to God damn death on my wife's station.
This movie has been remade several times with the ending a little different in each… this is great version he said he learned for over a year to play guitar and nailed it…😂❤❤ recommend the movie
She"s natural
One of the greatest movies ever made.
A star is born has been made several times since the 30s. Basic plot, young woman meets successful artist, wants to be artist but shy, man brings her out and encourages her. She becomes huge. He falls apart. The end. This particular song is the moment when the man finally gets her out on stage.
You should definitely do a movie channel if you have the time and energy. Many reactors do it.
Bradley Cooper learned to sing for this movie to my understanding. There are other songs from this movie he sings very well!
Lady Gaga has a really amazing singing voice bro, you have to hear her doing a capella with her background singers. She sounds amazing.
Gaga is massively multi talented. Watch the movie......amazing
Lady Gaga - Poker Face
My favourite song of her's 👌
I had the exact same reaction that you did when I first heard it. I would have never thought I would like it and ended up liking the whole album
This movie is outstanding. You gotta watch it. I didnt realize how incredibly talented she was until watching it...I'm a fan now.
People need to chill and expand their horizons if they complain about you watching anything. I mean get real, it's a reaction channel people! Sheesh. Yeah, not my cup of tea, but I don't immediately toss the furniture and write crap comments. It's a nice song - the movie did quite well. Gaga is quite versatile in her styles, check out some of her 1940's style stuff - it's very good.
And the Tony Bennett duets
