I'm from Chicago and Justin hasn't been a perfect QB, but he was the main reason for excitement when the Bears played, and they used him by breaking up the defense his second year, getting rid of Roqaun Smith, Kahlil Mack and Robert Quinn, and we were leading in a lot of 4th quarters, but the defense kept letting them score, he finally got a number one receiver last year DJ Moore and they both had their best seasons, Shady is a 🤡 and Joy is his puppet 🤡
He had 4 interceptions and three fumbles in Q4 just from last year. All of the four one-possession losses’ final drives ended in a turnover. I added the TB game also as they lost by 10 but their final two drives ended in turnovers. So five of 7 were the opposite of clutch. Justin Fields was not given what he needed to be successful in Chicago. DJ Moore was the only weapon he had (in his final season), and Moore had the best season of his career w/Fields.
Fields had plenty around him which is why they should have been 10-7, but fields late game mistakes cost them 3 games. #1 rush defense, #1 rush offense(yes fields was a big part but rbs avg. Over 5 yards/carry) Kmet and Moore are great options in passing game. Fields is very inaccurate in short and intermediate routes. Zero improvement in this area over 3 years.

I’m looking at these stats, and they had similar passing stats.. Then I look at rushing yards, and Fields had 1143 and Russ had 267.. And how is that a better season than Fields??
Being a QB is more than rushing the ball hundreds of times a season. Look at the actual numbers. Russell had 29 total touchdowns to 8 picks, played 2 less games, and had the 29th ranked defense and still got them 8 wins. Fields has DJ Moore and the 12th ranked defense and only thru 16 touchdowns to 9 picks. That’s a big difference

He had 4 interceptions and three fumbles in Q4 just from last year. All of the four one-possession losses’ final drives ended in a turnover. I added the TB game also as they lost by 10 but their final two drives ended in turnovers. So five of 7 were the opposite of clutch.
