    OMG!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I WAS THERE!! It remains the single most significant musical event I've ever attended. It completely changed the way I approached the guitar..the way I practiced, played and sounded. I guess you could say I "grew up" musically that night and became a much more serious musician and made me want to find my own sound and style. I think SRV's sound and style the most recognizable in the biz. And to be able to re-live it 35 years later is too much.

      I SAW SRV. 3 TIMES AND HE DID IT BETTER EVERY FRICKING TIME!!!!! HE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

      It's a Japanese made Fender stratocaster. He picked it up in Tokyo on his tour in 85'. He was walking around Tokyo and went into a guitar shop and said it felt so good in his hands that he had to have it even though it wasn't American made and it was new. The Japanese were the next best to the American Fender stratocaster. There is a noticable difference between the Japanese, Mexican, and Korean.
