From what I understand, Wrong Warp overloads the memory, causing the system to read RAM data instead. By putting the shells earlier in this glitch in specific positions, the RAM is altered, and is read as such. This is triggered by hitting a note block in the overloaded zone

when you do the glitch, it's supposed to warp you to the end of the game, but instead warped him to the end of a different world
