She started to smoke all day, quit her job, and stopped paying rent because I wouldn’t pay it for her. Then she got into a fender bender in my car because she refused to stop texting on her phone in my car. (I was asleep in the passenger) She eventually cheated on me with a dude with no job, a worse smoking habit, and beyond a poor excuse of a man. Currently she’s living in an Extended Stay America with cats, pregnant asf. On top of that, he gives no fucks about her or that kid. And once that kid is born, I know he not sticking around😂 I wish I could say I felt bad. As someone currently going through this situation, I can say it sucks. Especially when they are not upfront about their sexual history, and you have to find out through someone or something else. How can I look at her the same. The crazy part is, she did all the wild stuff with other men and then wants to be casual with me. If I don’t leave her it will always be on my mind and I will start to build resentment. I care about her a lot, but not enough to damage myself.

My parents and my Godparents commitment are the strongest I ever seen. For example my Godparents knew that one of them might get laid off and pension benefits might be cut. So, my godfather decided they should live off of one income for 10 years before they could retire. They banked over 600 or 700K with compound interest. This was the mid 80s, so $700K is a good chunk of change. He parlayed that into residential real estate because he got board while retired. Turned it into 12 duplex homes and they never wanted for anything financial again. When my god father passed he made sure that she could live and travel anywhere she wanted.
