Insane how far this “game” has come. I never thought I would see the day Beam would be graphically comparable to a AAA title. It’s just looking better and better with every update
The graphics mod reallly makes it even more satisfying tbh. Great work Exten. I just want videos a little longer (this one is long enough). But great work fr.
@@Fluffy_g3 it looks like he turned up the brightness and sun size in the f11 menu, and maybe tweaked the exposure, brightness, sky values, and shadow values a little bit, thats what I do to improve the graphics without mods.

@@hypermaniksk534 Yes, but in this gwagon, diffs weren't locked, as you can see that there still is wheelspin, wheels spin for a split second, then "locks", this happens again and again. At 11:09, we can see how it was stuck, and the traction control was trying to get it unstuck.

I let my toddler try Beamng once (as best he could with the controller). He instantly wanted nothing to do with kids games. It was either Beamng or it was crap. Now he could probably drive a car better than my mother in law if he could reach the pedals 😂
Watching rock climbing trucks in Real life with the amount of travel and independent suspension is pretty amazing. This BeamNG Drive is actually really close to how cars/trucks function in reality in some aspects that is. Of course I've never seen a person try and jump a Cybertruck over a gorge into a spinning hammer wheel either? YET
I like the set up but I don’t like how random it is, vehicles of different variants from the base game and mods and that they enter the obstacle at different speeds, some crawling some speeding and some with loads on while others without
Okay i just watched the cement truck do the test, the suspension failed admirably... But look at the cement cylinder on the truck... That was satisfying to watch
Thanks for this video, I hope you do more frequent episodes of this type, but the lowest test for cars and trucks to do it at a maximum of 30 to 50 km/h Merry Christmas

I remember when i played this when Rigs of Rods 0.1 alpha it was huge leap in car deformation and physics, now this has come sooo much better in time.

Doesn't a type of a differential do that? Lock one wheel to send more power to the wheel with more traction
