    1. When you long for the presence of a strong, loving father, and there is a loss of security. 2. The father wound creates a lost sense of identity. 3. When there's a father wound, there is a strong need in the life of a woman to be affirmed by a man. 4. When there's a father wound, there is left a deep seated anger.

My daddy issues run deep but I never saw one sign until I was a 17 year old young woman sitting in a theater watching some little kid movie with my sister, there was a black man with his 3 year daughter sitting next me and I just started crying silently. From then on I get emotional whenever I see a black father with his young girls and I just clicked on a video of yours where you said 'i just want to give some fatherly advice' and that sent me into so many tears. I really need some healing ❤

I'm SO thankful I found this channel last week! I'm sooooo thankful for Mr. Blakes for doing what God has called him to do. To all my sisters, you matter!!!! God heals the wound! It's not to late. Sometimes the kids are kept away from their dad because the man has no morals and is actually a danger to the kids. Unlike in your case where your dad prophesied good things into your life, there are dads who prophesy negative things into the lives of their children or damage their children's self worth. Such dads may be nacissistic, hot tempered, vulgar and/or see the negative in everything; they will easily say things like " why are you so foolish" or "you will never be anything good" to a child. And I will keep such a man from my kids outright, and will not feel sorry about it. Yes, I will do my kids this favor!

    • @victoryglory4521

Magdalene Mends you are so right.i learned this the hard way. I started to fell bad about keeping my child away so i let him have unsupervised visits when she turned 14 and him and his demonic family corrupted my child. In a short amount of time they did a life time if damage that i am trying to fix. I should have kept her safe because i knew they were no good.

    • @Sapphire37.
      @Sapphire37. 5 лет назад +11

@@victoryglory4521 im so sorry about your child but all is not lost; do all you possibly can, to keep your child away from her dad and his family completely. And give the precious one as much love as you can, speak a lot positive and inspiring words into her life when necessary. I married and im currently divorced from a very abusive man. I discovered very early he was trying to break me down to have control over me and I left the marriage for me and especially our three children. The children were very young and realized if I did not leave the marriage, my children will grow with no self worth. I had full custody of all three children but he was allowed a reasonable amount of time with them. I don't let them sleep over at his home and I'm around half the time he spends with them. What works for me is I pray over my children a lot. I also educate them on abuse and how to recognize it . I make them know they are special and loved. As for their dad, I have made him aware of my 0% tolerance for vulgarity; abuse, towards my children and I will go to court to fight for no contact when I see any slight signs of it. I believe God sees parents as represtives of Him, as supervisors on earth for the people ( children) he has given us. So I believe, If I, as a parent fail to train my children about the right way to go in life and fail to protect them, I have failed God and also my children. I may fail at this sometimes, I'm human, but I will do the best I can.

@@Sapphire37. wow, you really have done the best you could have. My ex husband has never let go. So abusive - con artist, gas lighting, flying monkeys, you name it... and he acts like a great guy, hard to believe he could be so evil. My children have suffered a lot. Confusion, anxiety, distress, etc... lack of a real father from the chore instead, he uses his fake way, money, title (lawyer) and other materialistic things to show he´s a good person. Unfortunately my children haven´t seen through this yet. Even though he´s the cause of my situation (I am in a very tough situation but always manage to get myself up...) and it feels like he kicks me in my stomach, head and face, with a grin on his face, and my family and many friends do not understand what I´m going through. I just wish my children would learn and I could help them understand what really has been happening and still is going on. I wish we three could move out of the country and move far away, start a new life... Thank you for reminding me about the prayers. That´s what´s helped me the most. I should have done that and brought the kids to church when small but I was under the worst abuse and pressure and didn´t wake up :-(... God bless you.

@@Luisa-cs2pd thank you, I try.... reading your ex-husband's profile, I won't be surprised if we were married to the same man- mine is all that, a lawyer as well and was a cheater when we're together. Anyway, will like you to know if all you can do is pray, then that's the best tool you have, to change things for you and your children. God can fix any situation and it is when in pain that He is closest to you( Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”).... So, sis, pray and be encouraged, you will win, and send the devil to hell where he belongs.✊🏾❤

Wow. I’m in tears because that’s me. My father was home but he was never home. He use to say to me when I was little. You don’t love me. I was like three. I would kiss him hug him and say no daddy I love you. He would say no you don’t and leave. He would go to the bars and clubs and most times would leave for weeks on end. As a kid I would think it was my fault that he would leave because of me. All the while he was chances other women and living a double life with other women and children. After my mom passed away in 2006. He left and told me that he would be back in two weeks. I have not seen or heard from him since. I do have a hard time trusting men. Takes me a long time to be comfortable. It’s crazy. I’m 45 still hurting and wishing he was there for me.

20 years after his murder, I finally dealt with my father wound. A weight was lifted. The hunger is still there. I was 11 when he was murdered and he was never around for me. Parents were never married.
My husband is wounded also b/c of his parents divorce when he was 3. We have 5 children and they lack that warmth and security from him. I beg the Lord every day that His grace will supersede all that.
I must say that I do have an AMAZING single mother, to God be all the glory for that!

I talked to him heart to heart about his passivity. He always knew that my mom was going overboard. I asked him why he didn't do anything and responded with vague answers like "I don't know." This message is speaking to me. I have my father but he stood passive while church people abused me, both family and church members. Most was verbal abuse, and emotional abuse but there was also physical abuse. I distanced myself from my father by the age of 9 years old. I no longer trust him. I struggled for years with this and cried to God many times. One day he spoke clearly and told me he was my father and the only one i would ever need. My heart was comforted and I've been able to move forward.

What a revelation. It took my natural father dying of cancer 12 years ago for me to wander in the wildness for 10 years before finding my real Daddy, the Heavenly Father Almighty and getting radically saved in 2019. I am now totally healed from my childhood father wound. The wound of a feed and seed father, physically present but emotionally absent. Praise God I am finally delivered from all brokenness and soul ties. I am a Queen who is now taking her throne. Thank you Christ Jesus for finding me 2 years ago, in You I have found my righteousness and my authority to have dominion. 🙌🏽

I had a father wound, but it was from a father who was present and abusive. when he and I sat down and dealt with it, all became much better. Sadly his 1st born child and his wife killed him 2 months later. now I have a good life because I dealt with my issue head on.

God works in mysterious ways, I think if my dad hadn't been so horrible I wouldn't have started seeking my real Abba Father! Thank God He found me!

Pastor Blakes, thank you for always praying for us after you teach. So many that give advice fail to that for their audiences but I'm glad you do pray. Thank you.

19:33 definitely applies to narcissist, emotionally unavailable parents as well. This type of person is desperately afraid to be alone so they put any doting stranger they are sleeping with above their children.

Thank you Pastor for sharing everything you know, in a structured, calm and generous way! I am so glad I found you, you make so much sense. I will work on these things. Single mom, trying to find a job and with an ex-husband, dad to my children who´s very abusive. I will never give up. Studied two careers when divorced (strangely I don´t get a job!) even though times have been extremely tough. God is good. I shall listen to his plans. God bless you and your wife!

Such a powerful and needed message. I am currently healing from this as God has allowed me to meet my biological dad 2 years ago after searching 34 years and meeting him has answered and healed soooo many things in my life that O can’t even begin to explain. I am blessed.

My dad has been gone for almost 14 years now, and my mother, for almost 13 years. I miss their guidance. My dad was ever present and the strong father that I strive to be. Divorce from my wife by no fault if nine, caused a void in my children's lives. I never gave up and my relationships with my kids is great. I recognized my father's shortcomings but I also realized the his generation did always show a lot of emotions. What he did show was genuine and sincere and I am forever grateful for that! He gave what he could and was an amazing father to me and my siblings. He was the man that I looked up to, a provider and protector in every sense of the word. My mother was an amazing woman but cut from the same cloth as my dad but gave what she knew how to do. I'm thanking for my upbringing.

You made me break down and cry like a baby ..... I would really like to speak with you if you ever see I'm trying to heal I'm taking therapy but I'm feeling like the healing is more painful than suppressing it‼️ I'm feeling even more horrible and angry than before but it's like I can't act out because I'm already accustomed to knowing it makes no sense having any conversations with anyone my motto is I'll figure it out 😢
