    These old school cats were funny as heck...That joke he told on Barry Switzer was hilarious...Even Barry acknowledged...Good stuff..

    As a caddy I met Bob Devaney at the Country Club of Lansing, Michigan. I caddied for his son Mike. Even for a brief moment he was a totally disarming, charming man. He also in my opinion had a greater impact on his program than any coach in college football history. He and his hand picked successor, Tom Osborne won 356 games and five National Championships in 36 seasons. Name one other figure in college football that can match that. Number one in my book.

    Nice video… I met coach Devaney on a number of occasions, but John Melton was always a kick to talk to. Absolutely love the guy. He didn’t mince words but he was a very kind man. Your video made me feel even older…
