LED Numberplate light upgrade - Ford Kuga Mk2.5

Whilst waiting for parts it's time to make a few upgrades to the vehicle! first of which is the upgrade of the rear numberplate lamps from standard 501 bulbs to the much brighter and cleaner LED 501 canbus free alternatives. This simple #Howto guide is simple and easy to follow for all to give it ago and upgrade yours too.

Hi William, I does make a difference with the LED bulbs the light they throw out is more than a standard 5w bulb and uses less than 1 watt in power. Hope you get you front bumper fix on soon I bet you miss driving the Kuga. Are you doing any more Mini videos. Have a good weekend Take care

Did you try flipping the bigger leds? Remember leds have a positive and a negative

Great mod I did them on mine are you aware the LEDs only work one way if you put them in and they don’t work turn them half a turn
Are you going to do a video mini video of the one in the background

Tried that but still didn’t work. The bulbs are pretty old so maybe just past their shelf life 🤷🏼‍♂️
As for the mini… Coming soon …..
