There's a great RUclips channel called Wicker Makers where they create really cool props and effects for home haunters. They do makeovers of these kinds of store-bought animatronics where they make them look like something you'd see at a professional haunt.
If you love the stuff they do you have to check also the channel Hollywood Haunter. These couple is awesome, they made a old western gohst city and many more wicked crazy things.
I love how Jenn was just standing there quietly while Bagger shows the soldout skeletons

I was just at my Home Depot a couple days ago and I love their stuff this year! They really are outdoing themselves with Halloween!
That marsh monster animatronic is a bargain given how elaborate it is - it really comes alive!

SO happy that the first animatronic you buy is from a place i've worked at. Not in the same place though, but same company. The Marsh Monster was always a favorite and it made me sad to see not as many people buy him but I just *knew* the minute you saw him this year you would at least consider him! Happy to see our friend in a loving home. ♥ May he give you plenty of spooks for years to come!

I like the design of the Marsh Monster! Kinda dragon-esque. I appreciate that it's a unique, creative monster, not really like any other animatronic out there.

We were just at Home Depot twice this past week. They have a lot of really cool stuff this year.

It looks like you picked the right anaminatronic item for your house. The price was not bad for all he does. I only own one small item I bought from Target a few years ago. They are nice and the kids seem to love them. About the only problem I have seen is like you they do not always activate when some one goes by. My unit did come with the wired remote switch to activate it. So that is nice to have if it does not activate easily as people approach it. You or the person visiting can then push the button and activate the action. Have a fun Halloween!
Many of the animatronics at Home Depot use a infrared sensor, which does not detect motion, but instead detect heat, so if it keeps on sensing that you’re nearby, it won’t start playing again until you’ve moved away, and then re-approached the animatronic. Happy Halloween!

Congrats on your first animatronic Jacob! The Marsh Monster gang slowly grows every day! I got mine back in late July and I have absolutely loved him ever since! Just like you, I love cryptids and mythical creatures so I just had to get him. Definitely an interesting animatronic but that's what makes him great! Amazing video as always! Keep up the good work!

When I was at Home Depot this past week, there was a full grown adult, and his kid, walking though the different animatrontics touching and playing with them. That's how they end up broken. I'll never understand people who have no consideration for things that aren't theirs.
