I just saw this at Lowes and looked it up on youtube, your video is the first one I watched. The set looks good. How has it held up since you put it up?
Great Vid. Thinking about picking this Ready-to-Assemble one up sometime this week. I have zero build experience outside of IKEA lol. Def going to use your vid and advice while building. Do the instructions let you know the bit sizes to use? In the vid you said you had to saw. I dont have one, do you think this will be a problem?
@@mr.birdman3477 Not sure the extra he needed but I used only the wood the instructions said I needed and it came out perfect. Did everything solo and its still standing strong 3 years later. Zero Build experience. The instructions were easy to follow. I would def suggest at least have one person help lift upright when you put the roof on if you go with the wood roof like I did because that part was rough. Since you bought the Box only like I did because EVERYTHING(all Pre cut wood) was sold out during the Pandemic, in the instructions, it should show all the wood needed to build with the cut size needed etc. I went to Menards and they have a section you can cut everything needed. Or you can prob slide one of the workers some cash to cut for you. you'll just need to go to the yard and pick everything out. It is a loooot of cutting so be ready. If you dont have a truck rent a Uhaul Van to put the cut wood in.

This was a fairly big job, but you guys had a pretty good system to get it together headache-free.
The kids looked so excited!
Process is everything! I think the kids loved it as much as I loved getting it done and paid lol
you need a gap between the decking for expansion, and runnoff, that's why the boards are coming up short
