- #thinklikeahorse #ItIsNeverTheHorsesFault This is my opinion on this tool that was sent to me for a review.
*NOTE* The retaining nut on grinder is upside-down since it would fit through the hole of the Hoofem wheel. If you have a smaller grinder or small retaining nut, it work better.

That thing looked brutal
Thanks Rick 🥰 I couldn't use that sort of disc, it would be too easy to cause damage, extremely quickly 🥰🥰
I think that was a fair assessment. I myself would've been scared to use power tools on an animal.
I love the little Mokie pic😁
Using a power tool on a horse hoof makes me nervous. I have a good comfort zone using the rasp. The only critter that is going to get hurt with the rasp is me.
Might make a good hedge trimmer! 🤣 Looks too aggressive to me.
I would be afraid that it would take off to much to quickly, damage the hoof. I'll stick to the old way. Thanks for the review and sharing the information. Have a good day.
Love the new intro pictures! It is nice to see Ransom included!
honest review, No hoof...No horse.
Hi Rick, Sorry I’d be Nervous too! Good Evaluation. Enjoy your evening my friend 💕
I like it the idea of it bc it doesnt require the hand strength that nippers do. Ppl with arthritis, a broken finger, or any other hand injury could still use it and take care of their horse(s). Looks good for a farrier or someone with a bunch of horses that needs to get hooves done quickly, but yeah, needs a fail safe of some sort to prevent putting holes in the hoof. -Jade
Have a nice Weekend Rick, and the Critters too
Hey Team Rick !
I have seen videos where they use something like that on cow’s hoofs. Hoof GP is one of the channels that I watch that uses it.
Glad to see you and the horses
Second thought. Perfect tool to give Poin-dexter a haircut and toe nail trim. Go full Speed too,
The sparks flying off his hoof would scare the bejesus out of me
It looks very much like a tool I've seen farriers use on cows. I would feel ultra-cautious trying that out as well. It isn't like you can undo the damage if it caused any. I think you gave it a fair test Rick. Better safe than sorry. Someone less experienced than you might use it and cause harm.
Excellent review Rick. Hoofem should pay you for reviewing their product and perhaps redesign some of the flaws i.e. missing grinding guard.
I am sticking with your standard rule. The slow way is the fast way with horses. Good idea but for the ordinary person, too much of a chance to make a bad mistake without a lot of practice
