Shocking details of Archana Makwana's yoga scandal at Golden Temple

- Punjab Police have registered a case against influencer Archana Makwana for performing yoga inside the Golden Temple in Amritsar, charging her under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code for acts intended to outrage religious feelings. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), which manages gurdwaras across India, lodged the complaint, alleging that Makwana's actions hurt Sikh religious sentiments. On International Yoga Day, June 21, Makwana posted photos and videos of herself performing yoga at the temple. She later removed the content and issued an apology via Instagram, claiming she meant no harm. Despite her apology, Makwana reported receiving death threats and has been given police protection.

Golden Temple is a pious place to bow before the Almighty and not a place for popularity stunt.

@bhargavsonvane9204 you are ignorant. GURUDWARA IS NOT A PLACE TO DO YOGA. YOGA IS JUST AN EXERCISE TO KEEP YOUR BODY FIT AND FINE,. There is no religious relevance of yoga in sikhism. Different dance forms are also good to keep your body fit and active, would you mind if someone do Bhangra in Ram mandir just in front of Statue of Ram and tap His thigh in sidhu moosewal style?

Yoga is approved in Hindu Temples and not in Gurudwaras. We all like Yoga however, we don't do it at the sacred and holy place where we do Simran and Sewa. Do yoga at Ram Mandir and in the Hindu Temples because they love yoga. Go and please the people in the Hindu temples.
What about namaaz, guru govind singh used to advocate for namaaz in gurudwaras right ? His fight was against Hindus ? He was part of islamic terror brotherhood? ..kuch bhi

She has to follow the rules laid in Golden Temple. Her intentions seem to be in not keeping the spirit of a devotee of Golden Temple, because,
(1) She is wearing a dress which does not conform to the dress of a devotee,
(2) She is performing Yoga with Golden Temple in the background, to get reflected publicity for her. Golden Temple is worldwide known, hence this act of hers would bring her in limelight (though notorious),
(3) She has not paid her obeisance in the Santorum Santum, which is important as a spiritual task,
(4) If she has taken Prasad (which again is important (it signifies the blessings of Gurus), then where she has kept? Not on the ground near her? If she has not taken then she has come for publicity or selfish motives,
(5) She has to take permission from the Gurdwara authority, which presumably she has not taken, and hence violated the Maryada of the Gurdwara,
(6) Actually what was her motive that is not clear? Sikhism believes in love and service for humanity if one wants to attain divinity,
(7) Her head stand looks more sensual than spiritual, and,
(8) SGPC has taken the right decision of filing an FIR. I think she should atone for her stupidity/obstinancy by serving Langar in the Langar Hall or doing some other humility taks in the precincts of the Gurdwara.
I wish her well, and would advise her to read Sikh History including the Modern History of Sikhs, where Sikhs laid their lives for political freedom of India from Britishers, and Dr Manmohan Singh who gave Economic freedom to give India to allow Foreign companies and Foreign investment to come to India, and release India from the crafty Industrialists who were taking advantage because of the earlier closed economy ( home protection).
I hope she gets a spiritual awakening.

Actually, what was Archana's motive that is not clear? Sikhism believes in love and service for humanity if one wants to attain divinity, one must do Sewa and Simran.
