just fyi can save your life or your family, New bee keepers and surprisingly lots of "master" keepers don't know is that if you are not stung enough, around once a month should be good, you will build up the wrong antibodies and overtime a sting can and will become fatal. This goes for all family, children and wives who do not handle bees and get stung are at serious risk. 1 in 100 people are allergic, but 1 in 10 keepers family are allergic.
Michelle, this was the BEST video I have ever watched on Bee Keeping. Soooo much information. But the greatest thing is your heart. You truly love bee keeping and it shows in every word you convey as you teach. Loved every minute of it... Hope you have a blessed day. Bob Benfield - Bethlehem, NC
I have a thriving yard full of berries, gardens, and herbs and have long considered adding a hive to the mix. I am glad to have come upon this video early. It would be insulting to post script what an interesting woman you are. I appreciate your pros and your manner.
The passion for bees and the sparkle in her eyes was amazing and had me on the edge of my seat for the entire video. I am so glad I took the time to view this.
omg ME TOO!! I just found this 2 days ago and im rewatching it again! I told my beekeeper boyfriend that Michelle is my Beekeeping Goddess.....She is amazing!!!
I Have 4 Hives and Learned from RUclips to Be a Hobbiest Beekeeper and Have Extracted Bees from trees Twice, Have Caught Swarms 3 Times and Watched Over 500+ Videos BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE Do A Video with As Informatively Complete and in Detailed and PASSIONATE As You PLUS You Drowned Me in Your Cute and Beauty of Your LOVE for BEES. I wish I Could Meet You and Hear and Watched You Explain ALL These in Person !! LOVE / HUGS Your Way From Central Calif !! :)
dont have any bee's myself just ways liked them for some reason and ive watched many vids on here and this woman is by far the best ive heard .You can really tell she loves what she does God bless people like this
If I had to guess at the downvote, the term "cosmic forces" probably turned some people off. I understand that bee's are intimately connected to the Earth and its natural rhythms, but talking about cosmic forces and biodynamic "leaf days, or root day, or flower day, or ecplise", I mean...what does that mean? Michelle seems very smart with a lot of good things to say, but there comes a point where naturalism like that isn't useful but added superstition
@@ryanoverton6624 she was just sharing principles on those hives. Obviously she just borrowed that hive for the teaching. If it didnt work for someone, it would be obsolete.
I been a beekeeper for 25 years now and I still enjoy what others have to say and what they have learned in beekeeping , even though I been doing this for a While now you never stop learning something new , I really just love listening and learning what others have discovered and share , I feel for those bee keepers who think they know better than everyone else , I think they haven’t learnt a thing when they have that mind set , expanding your knowledge from others no matter how small it might be makes you grow at being better at looking to your bees in a different window and approach at caring for them , though this video was years ago I still enjoyed it today in 2023 ,thank you. 👍
A swarm of honey bees took over my elevated owl house and made it their home last Spring. I let them be. They love it, and they managed to perk my interest. They caused me to watched your fabulous, compassionate, and informative bee video. Now you and the "owlhouse" bees have provoked me to adopt these little buddies and get them a new and proper home. Thank you
What started out as a Homeschooling lesson, on honey bees for my daughter has now come to a full blown research on eventually becoming a beekeeper. The more research I do the more I find myself fascinated by the art. This presentations was an amazing overview of what be hives are and I appreciated how you touched on some of the diseases bees can get. Thank you.
I love the ominous handprint on the wall behind her cheerful face. Probably just honey, but still haha. I'll be listening to this SO many times. What a wonderful presentation!! Thank you!
Great teaching video Michelle Carter. You can tell by the way you talk about the bees that you have a real love for them. I've always , even as a child had a love for all insects but, especially for bees. I never got stung by them as I looked into their hive. Of course, that's not possible now a days with the invasion of killer bees. Thanks for your great video, hope to see more from you.
Amazingly informative, on point, presentation. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and passion with no agenda other than to promote healthy beekeeping and people’s understanding of bees. You are a great teacher!
Ive watched this over the course of 3 nights. During my evening ganja session. Im super stoked for my 1st hive this year. Thanks for an awesome presentation. You're energy is contagious
This is the most entertaining & informative Bees 101 video I've seen. Michelle Carter displays obvious respect & love for pollinators. Most other videos are aggressive opinions by keepers that seem to have an apiary to simply keep other people away.
This is a very inspiring and educational editorial on Bees and their Lifecycle and knowing Thanks Michelle You really are a inspriation and great lesson and very helpful completely

Very good informative video. My father kept bees in the 1960s and I helped him. I’m 70 now but I want to finally want to keep beds myself. I found this quite helpful. Thank you.
Excellent presentation. Michelle's 'bees explained', new whats whys and wherefores. As a beginner (nuc ) in California this expanded my horizon alot. Complimentary to any Bee 101 class .
I have SO many bees on my hummingbird feeders, I started just feeding the bees to keep them off. Now I am fascinated by these bees! They are so gentle. I want a beehive! Sure seems like a lot of work! Thank you for this video! Subbed!
Thank you Michelle you’re such an awesome person I just wanna tell you thank you for sharing your knowledge I am thinking about business and be keeping
Thank you. Wow. Bee keeping is a much bigger investment of time and resources endeavour than I imagined. No wonder the cost of honey seems high. It's surprising it doesn't cost more!
I subscribed and liked. we're looking to put together an autistic community in pueblo. got the organic gardens and chickens and hopefully by next spring the bees. I find bees beyond fascinating. I will be watching and reading everything I can get my hands on. I am so excited!
What a great introduction to beekeeping! I've seen a lot of those because i wanted to know about beekeeping, the materials and costs so i can make an educated decision. Most videos are fragmented and incoherent (and mostly talk about the honey production part) but this class gives me an actual idea about the real questions, i as a potential beginner, would have. Thank you so much. As i expected, this is a costly hobby and i'm not sure if i could do it right this moment but at least i have a good idea about it now. My neighbor always has 2-5 hives so i get to poke him with questions as well. :)
I would like to say thank you for making this video I have watched multiple beekeeping video since I got my nuc nearly 3 weeks ago and for us amateur beekeeper that doesn't even know the life cycle of our bees your video was very knowledgeable. This is not to say the other spokesman was bad. They were talking to the new beekeeper that has had their bees for awhile. Unlike myself. Thanks
thank you Michelle for sharing your experience and enthusiasm with us, it encourages me to continue my research of bee keeping to eventually take on the hobby of bee keeping in the future
By far the best and most engaging video ive seen so far in my quest for the knowledge to keep my own Bees, I think Ive fallen a liitle bit in love! Also helped me decide the type of hive Id like and Ive got lots of notes to research too. I feel like her passion alone would be enough to save the worlds Bee population and done in such a wonderfully simple and easy to understand way, this lady can really teach. Even tho i really dont need too I just want to watch again, cant wait to get started on my journey now. Thankyou muchly Michelle, ure pretty awesome, and for me, you are the Queen Bee ;xD

Its RUclips algorithms. To draw trolls and create more comments thus more activity resulting in more advertising income.
Ignore dislikes. It's a joke.
