CARE PACKAGES A care package is a little bit of home that says, “I love you . . . I’m thinking about you.” Care packages are great morale boosters during a deployment. Excitement runs throughout the entire unit when just one package arrives! Below are some helpful hints to ensure your care package arrives in good condition. How to send care packages: Keep packages small (no larger than a shoe box). Larger packages take longer to be delivered and more cumbersome for your Marine/Sailor to haul around. The U.S. Postal Service offers FREE boxes for Priority Mail. You can order these boxes online from www.usps.com. The recommended size is the #4 or #7 box."flat rate large" Packaging Tips: Use plastic bags with Zip-style closures for everything. These plastic bags keep sand and rain out and allow the service member to reuse them for all sorts of things. The quart-sized Ziploc bags are great! Highly desirable items include: Books, cameras (disposable), candy, chapstick, beef jerky, hygiene gear, magazines, gum, powdered drink mix, travel games, snacks, baby wipes, phone cards, CD’s, DVD’s, camping-wrapped foods, etc. PROHIBITED items include: Illegal substances, alcohol, explosives (including fireworks), offensive or obscene materials (including photos and drawings) that have the potential to offend members of the opposite sex or members of anoth-er race, religion, nationality or background.
Hi Ashley Adkins, my name is Kyndal. I saw that your husband is in the Navy, I am a big fan of the Navy, and I am a big fan and a big supporter and prayer warrior of the brave men and women in uniform!! Hope you won't mind if I ask you this, sometime when you get to talk to your husband, will you tell him that I say "Thank You" to him for his wonderful service to our country.
Is there a way for us to speak and me ask you questions... I would love to talk to someone one on one that's has and is going through something that I'm about to go through as well. My friends don't really support my military relationship because they said they think it would be too hard for me which I understand they're sharing their concerns about my well-being but it's not something I wanna hear seeing as it's hard enough already. My family can't relate because the only military associated person in my whole family is my uncle who's a veteran from Vietnam and he can't really tell me what I need to expect and will go through because he's on the other side of things and is no longer with his wife.
Im going through that too. They don’t believe in my relationship and they tell me that my husband is going to cheat bc every military men cheat. I trust my husband but sometimes I’m scared bc of what people say. I don’t want to talk about what I’m going through ( this deployment life) bc I know what they’re going to tell me and I don’t need to hear that right now. All I want is to talk with someone bc i feel like I’m depressed.
Hello like your video i am getting ready to send out a care package he is stationed in the Army Afghanistan i was told to mail the package to Ghana to a retired Army forget is title then he will personally delivers the package Phoenix camp in Afghanistan and to mail express so that it will get there sooner like some advice on this i want to make sure that i am not getting. fill in the blank
Ken I am not an expert on this care package thing but the advice you got to send to a retired Army something or other in Ghana sounds bogus to me and I would doubt the package would arrive to the person you sent it too. Take the advice given in the video and you cant go wrong. Good Luck!
Add a video on what and how to mail it. I'm new to this, customs papers etc.

My brother is in training didn’t know what to send him
So my brother has asked me to send him his favorite cigarettes, how would I go about that so that he gets them?
My sister would send me my favorites when I was overseas. Lucky strikes with no filter or camels with no filter
Does the box have to be from USPS to send it with the discounted price over seas?
Great tips loved the video
Very helpful thanks
