There was a time when Umair Jaswal was a local singer in Islamabad, and I would go to his concerts, paying 100 to 250 and 500rs, and he would literally dance all over the stage, so energetic and nice person he was and still is. Qayaas was his band.
I was in his concert in Kuch Khas Islamabad feb in 2013, and Qayaas was about to perform all the other members were on the stage and the music started playing, Umair wasnt there, and I looked beside me and he was standing right beside me in the crowd, I looked at him and he was smiling and was like shhhhh, and then he just stormed unto the stage. We headbanged to his songs, and enjoyed alot. Amazing Guy.
yeah and Fasi Zaka used to advertise jaswal brothers in his radio show while live callers in the show would argue if they should be called singers at all........ memories

this is one of the most beautiful songs ever made on coke studio. the poetry of baba bulleh shah is deep and extremely relevant. umar jaswal has complimented ahmed jehanzeb and has done brilliantly. the song should be played all over the subcontinent in the hope that religious people dont end up killing everybody, including staunch atheists like me! I just wish someone makes a song out of Kabir's poetry in coke studio pakistan, because, sparing a few, indian coke studio isnt much to talk about.

baba fareed was the very 1st sufi poet from pakpatan(pakistan)
and bulleh shah was from Qasoor(pakistan)
Qasoor and pakpatan are surprisingly twin cities in punjab.

The lyrics of this song is too good and the music this time is really rocking in deed and not over the top like in previous somgs. This feels like a well composed song. And i don't know why people hate Umair Jaiswal, I mean the man has really got a rocking voice and he's singing the same way. Ahmed Zhanzeb was also too good. This is a hit👍👏

Every time I listen to this song, I fall in love with it even more... Haven't come across lyrics with such deep meaning in recent times... The music just keeps growing on me, the arrangement is just flawless and the instrumentalists are just sending it to space... Respect from Syria. Everything in this is astonishing. The notes, the vocals, the instruments, the lyrics the beats... EVERYTHING! Such a beautiful musical painting done by everyone. each time i listen to this track, it just feels like it gets better... from 5.20 to 6.23 is an example of a crescendo.. no words can render a definition like this piece does... the voice of ahmed jehanzeb and umair jaswal is like a play of fire with fire.. the control in jehanzeb's voice lends the song a unique signature... the lyrics blend with the music like the sound of a waterfall against the rocky contours of a mountain... distinctly superb!

I'm addicted to Coke Studio Pakistan. Great work from all artists involved in Coke Studio Pakistan. Turning old songs into high end Masterpieces, high standard musicians, with high standards of music arrangements, playing, singing and performing in very classy manners. Love and respect for all Coke Studio musicians and Artists with such amazing live performance, and this song is definitely one of the best.
This is by far the most accomplished original composition of the season! The powerhouse lyrics compliment them. Episode 3 was gangbusters!
And as much as I love Rohail, I am quite happy listening to new gifted composers from Pakistan. There are teething issues but the change is welcome!

Each and every one at Coke Studio is amazingly talented. I wish India and Pakistan would have never got separated. India and Pakistan has so varied culture that we can showcase it to world. Kudos to Pakistan they have not forgotten their musical roots while accepting western music. They are trying to blend the two and the result is so beautiful just like this song.

Umair Jaswal has a very strong voice. I came to know some people hate him may be because he is sometimes very animated. But I love his singing and expressions.
Ahmed Jahanzeb has a sweet voice. Very good fusion for the two voices and lovely composition by Shuja Haider.
Even my 5 year old son enjoys this song and the music. He has also started reciting it as well.
