@@34_zordantino77 I don't think it's that simple.
If we look at their dyno result, it's clear that the CBR is quicker at launch up until beyond 100kph. The R15M will pass it at top speed, but let's be real, who and what road could people maintain full throttle for beyond 30 minutes straight. Not in most Asia road, afaik.
Add to that, both has different approach on their arm. The R15M is more rigid, good for cornering at high speed. The CBR choose box frame which is softer and has greater rebounds for better comfort.
Each has solid argument. Ultimately depends on the user.
But feature and gimmicks, CBR is evidently lacking. Honda didn't even give it an engine cut off switch. Ridiculous for a sport bike.

150cc is perfect for urban riding - for work and fun ride at week end, the light weight makes the bike easier to control at low speed in traffic jam, while some extra hp (comparing to 125cc and scooter) let you drive a little bit more agressive.
The new r15 is beautiful. I hope and pray I can get one before the year ends.

in my country, both sell at almost the same price. its not some insane leader bike so i guess its better to get something with more feature for the $$$$. rarely see any cbr on the streets honda here is notorious for marking up price...

I don't think this is a fair comparison. The model used in this video for the yamaha is the R15M v4 and not the standard one (r15 v4). Unlike honda which only has the standard one for the 150cc category. This comparison should be between CBR150R AND R15 V4. 🤷

Thanks for video, in Vietnam my country, CBR150r is being sold genuine by Honda Vietnam, R15m is not available. I chose CBR150r because of the good price, R15m will be a lot of more expensive than CBR150r. Besides that, CBR150r is more comfortable and durable than R15m when I use everyday. But R15m is good, nice design and more tech than CBR150r. :D

I'm owner of cbr 150r v4. The top speed is 139-140. It cannot Chase R15 in term of performance due to Yamaha 155cc vva. Honda use weak dohc which is produced less horsepower. Unlike cbr 150r old version which is use true dohc. But in term of safety, cbr 150r is tip top and fuel consumption super save compared to R15. But because of lack power, I wanna upgrade soon but still Honda brand
r15 had traction control, better safety and better mileage due to vvt, vvt known to give you best of both world (power and mileage)

@@rezandi7553 yeah I just noticed it. The cbr is weak on 150 cc. Suzuki and Yamaha win in this class. But in 250cc , cbr is king 250. Even ninja. Zx25r has inline 4 but I prefer 2 cylinder 250cc

@@HungNguyen-zt2yz in terms of hp old cbr has about 17.8 hp or so and lower top speed cause of the weight 🗿. (The information you got def wrong) and i agreed old cbr are best but new cbr its just too weak in this class🗿
