I totally agree with Chennai Corporation Commissioner Mr. Radhakrishnan, It's everyone's responsibility to safeguard our environment in all aspects. In developed countries, it's mandatory to segregate wastes from home itself. Same, we all have to follow at our home.

நகரக் குப்பைகளை ஒரே இடத்தில் காட்டாமல் நான்கு திசைகளிலும் ஒதுக்குப் புறத்தில் குவித்து சுத்திகரிக்க வேண்டும். குப்பை குவியலை சுற்றி ஒரு கிமீ இடைவெளிக்கு குடியிருப்புகள் தடை செய்யப்பட்டு வனம் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட வேண்டும்
Prevention is better than cure. வந்தபின் சரி செய்வதைவிட வரும்முன் காப்பதே சிறந்தது என்று நம் முன்னோர்கள் அனுபவத்தில் தான் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள். மக்கும் மக்கா குப்பையை ஆரம்பத்திலேயே பிரித்து தான் வாகனத்தில் ஏற்ற வேண்டும். மக்களுக்கு விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தி அவர்களுக்கு குப்பையை எப்படி பிரித்து கொட்டவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லித்தர வேண்டும்.
In Country like India where population is high, long term planning is key but I really wonder If is done in any govt sector.

சென்னை மட்டும் அல்ல, குப்பை இங்க இருந்தாலும் அதை கொட்ட ஒரு இடம் வேணும். சென்னை மாதிரி ஒரு நகரில் இந்த மாதிரி ஒரு இடம் தேவை. ஆனா காற்று மாசு படாத மாதிரி ஒரு திட்டம் வேண்டும். அதை தான் நாம் குறை கூற வேண்டும். அங்கு தங்கி இருக்கும் மக்களையோ, இல்லை ஏன் இவ்வளவு குப்பை என சென்னை வாசிகளை திட்டுவது நல்லது அல்ல.

Can't help, people and the government are not good. People need to understand and be educated on how to dispose of the waste and the government should properly dispose of the waste. Until then the problem's will be there.
