The buying a coupon thing and not selling it on their own site is weird, the coupon is for Amazon, but they just show the L30 and have no listing for the X30, so confusing! Does the Dreame code stack with Amazon’s current promo of $200 off? I have the L20 and the single use detergent container is a problem, it’s out of stock everywhere including Dreame and this is their 3rd type of detergent container they released in a year.
The coupon is for Amazon and their website. You have the option to use the code on either site. The X30 hasn't launched yet so that's why it's not on Amazon.
@TinaJackson ah cool. Thank you. I had emailed Dreame and they said they'll speak to their R and D team. I'm confused. Do you actually have the attachment to drain and fill the robot via an outside connection?
So Roborock has the same features plus 10,000 sucking power. Why no mention of that product?? It does one thing Dream can’t as its side brush can swing out in order to clean corners.
The hot water mop wash is kind of a joke. If you want clean mop pads just change them after its done cleaning and throw them in the wash. You can get 5 pairs of mops for $20. We have 4 pairs, as soon as the floors are done I put a new (clean) pair on
That being said you’re absolutely correct no washboard and hot water wash is going to do as good a job as the washing machine and I really hope that when my unit arrives the mop pads are machine washable
@@AlexanderBouchard-xt7gx The was pads are fine in the washer. We have 4 pairs of them. We wash the floors 3x a week so we are washing (on hot) three pairs of pads a week. Its been a year and they are still fine
I think you missed the entire point. These things can also hook up to your houses water and sewer line. They are meant to be minimal maintenance besides changing the bag/fluids (unless you have the hook up). Do it right and these things are meant to be ignored for 2 months at a time, then you just change the bag and wash the small part of the base the auto clean feature missed. If you are going out of your way to pick it up and wash the pads you've missed the entire point of this type of vacuum and should get one that's a fraction of the price or do it yourself.
@@mambofox4333 I didn't miss the point at all. Yes they can hook up to water and waste. You can use the robot to clean the mop pad all day long but that does not replace changing the mop pads in 5 seconds and washing them in a washer

Are they releasing the X30 and L30 in the US?
@@bigjimmy428L30 is same as L20 just adds hot mop washing, nothing else.
Can it be plumberd into the drain and water supply?
Yes! I just bought one and it has it in the back. I think it’s a separate kit but you definitely can. It fills and drains.

@@TinaJackson can the same kit that there for the predecessor be used for this?

Because it’s not a review it’s more of a video talking about this robot and what it has to offer. He is not testing roboshit
I specifically tested obstacle avoidance, suction power, and loudness but also talked about my experience.
Roborock has not released the vacuum or pricing for that matter so it’s hard to discuss something that I haven’t used or released.
Would you say it is worth it to get the x30 over the l20 ultra?

Such a great feature!

I suspect it’s because it was designed to also be sold in Asia where not every household has a washer and dryer in unit

Hi Jonathan! I send you an email for a collab, hope to get your answer soon. Best
Really nice robot vacuum Mister Casey
Thanks bro! It’s perfect for your cats 😆
There's a 3cm curb at my bathroom doorway ..... can this robot climb over it? or can it be turn on manually after carrying it into the room
Yes. You can also add thresholds in the map on the app which tells the robot to give it extra power to get over the thresholds
@@BlazingNina Thanks for the reply! Do u own the x30? How high is your doorway threshold?
no it cannot climb it, there 's no robot in the market that can do more than 2cm
