    There are many great players out there. I think aside from being a great player, you sir are an amazing teacher. I've watched a few Guarapachangueo vids and though I do not have a set of congas in front of me, this is the first time (watching this vid) I have actually grasped the rhythm in my head. You have a way of simplifying things. Amazing Mr. Spiro.

    You present nice videos, but you leave out a key element: how to tune the three drums to get the melodic tones.

    that remo skin sounds dreadful compared to the real ones

      Agreed. The Remo skins may have a tone that pierces through other tones, but it has a definite ring and very synthetic, almost plastic sound. Although I don't like the sound, I have tried them and can understand why some people use them. The ease with which you can get volume and snap out of the drum is significant.
