Thank you for posting. i buy the soap and have it shipped here from Taiwan for my daughter ita the only soap that she can use without having massive breakouts. I've been searching for over 2 years for Cocoyl Glutamic acid with no luck here in the USA. I've also contacted suppliers in the USA with no success. Maybe in a couple of years one of our suppliers will begin to carry it or we will be able to find a supplier over seas that can ship it to us directly and also no luck in finding a comparable substitute Yours came out beautiful dear.
Thank you so much Ameena. Yes I feel so sad when other soapmakers cannot source out the ingredients. I also have to buy overseas. Hope you can find it soon. I like amino acid soap so much because it is gentle. 🤗 For substitute, try if you can find Lauryl Glutamic Acid I also use it if I don't have Cocoyl Glutamic Acid sometimes I mix the two. ☺️
Thank you for watching. Yes you need to make sure that the ingredients are available near your place. I only had hard time in looking for Cocoyl Glutamic Acid. The rest are okay. 🤗
Hi Cathy, I am trying to purchase this recipe from your website but when I add to cart and checkout it says nothing added to the cart. Do you have other links to make thia purchase?
Hi Cathy, thanks so much for sharing this! Just a question, once I melt it again, can I pour into a silicone soap mould or does it have to be a hard plastic soap mould? I'm asking this because I bought a premade amino acid soap base and it doesn't work with my silicone soap mould. (It would stick to the silicone surface, and the soap bar's surface becomes uneven when i take it out a day later).
I use silicon mold for amino acid soap. I didn't notice any sticking issue. You definitely can pour it in silicon mold after remelting. If you are having issues at your end, you can consider a plastic mold but you have to put it in the freezer to easily remove it. How about you consider this technique with the silicon mold first (the freezing for atleast 10 minutes)? Keep me posted. 😊
I read than the tri ethanol amine you use on B part is very dangerous for health... But i want to do cristal clear soap, is it possible to find other product non-toxic ?

Thank you for the recipe! What's the melting point to reheat the soap base and would it turn yellowish after reheating? Can it be used like a normal clear MP soap base (adding colourants, spray alcohol between layers etc)? Also, as there's no preservative, how should we store it and how long can we keep it for?
Yes it will be the same as MP. I reheat it at the microwave at high settings at 30 sec blast then check. Once melted I let it cool down a bit and add the rest of the good stuff like colourants, fragrance. Yes alcohol between layers to pop the tiny bubbles, etc. No need preservatives it can last 2yrs to 5 yrs depending on the additives that you put. Thanks for watching. ☺️
