    My brother....(he was 35 at the time) used to argue with me in 2005 that holograms were a real thing. Movies and Tv are so good at filming holograms, that he truly believed they were a real thing. Even now, 19 years later, I still have to explain to him that it is not a real thing. I show him VR and explain the sensors that detect your position and that translates to viewpoint in your goggles....but he still argues that 10 people can all step into a room and see the same hologram without any headgear. He also believes human blood is blue. Movies have not educated anyone.

    • @everyonethinksyoureadeathm5773
      @everyonethinksyoureadeathm5773 4 месяца назад +5

      Technically, human blood is blood. It's just the hemoglobin in the cell reacts with the oxygen that gives it a red hue. When the blood is depleted of oxygen it turns a purplish-blue.
      However holograms are no where near ready for prime time maybe in another 150 years.

    • @TheAkashicTraveller
      @TheAkashicTraveller 4 месяца назад +5

      @@everyonethinksyoureadeathm5773 The blood thing is also a myth. Deoxygenated blood is just a darker red maybe with little bit of a blue tint. The blue thing just comes from veins looking bluish through certain skin types.

    • @KitNeedsCoffee
      @KitNeedsCoffee 4 месяца назад +2

      Human blood is always red unless tampered with intentionally. The blue hue through our skin is due to light diffusing. Also, holograms are in fact real as are tactile holograms you can physically touch. However, they do not in any way work like they do in films & are extremely primitive comparatively. They cost too much to produce & have very limited application so there's no point in mass producing or even making them in the first place when the same effect can be recreated with a screen. Just like flying cars are real, but are too expensive & unnecessary to actually make commercially. Science has actually gotten to the point where some irl stuff is more unbelievable than things we see on film & television-- it's just either very impractical or only used for some serious stuff like military use.

    • @KitNeedsCoffee
      @KitNeedsCoffee 4 месяца назад

      Also technically blood is "red" not red. We perceive it with our poor biological senses. Colour is ultimately a figment of our collective imagination to name something in a way that we can express an idea to each other through language. Other animals might see human blood as a variety of different colours & hues & it's as accurate to them as it is to us. If an isolated civilization called our red blue in the culture & it was a socially accepted thing on a mass scale for them then yes it would be blue.. however that's just their word for our red. Ultimately it would mean the same thing, but expressed differently.
