From CT but I'm VA. Could see it here despite lights. Saw pulsing waves little color though probably due to lights in area. But was an area of redish orange tint that slowly moved. Cool

I couldn't see a thing, so I asked google for "how to..", which said if you can't see them, try taking photos with a digital camera or phone. Even though it looked all black through the lens, I clicked anyway and was amazed after checking the actual photos - like magic - there they were in full glory of purples and greens! The stars were brilliant but blurry - a tripod would have helped to keep my arms steady. You have to look North - Northeast. Besides that, some house lights showed up in the photos, so I
I got a mat and lay down on the ground. (fanatical I know, but worth it) I got a much larger view with no artificial lights in the way.

SuspiciousObservers on RUclips puts out a daily space weather video that takes no more than 5 minutes to watch. Any time there’s an event like this, they typically have updates through it all. We’re currently awaiting the last 4 storms to hit Earth. The first 3 were about 6 hours ahead of schedule.
These storms are not rare…in fact they’re EXTREMELY common. Difference is, the level of these storms is not common. It’s been 23 years since we last had a G5 storm and that was nowhere near as large as this one. Last year alone we had a planetary record 7 storms with auroras reaching as far south as Florida and Northern California. These ate not new, and they’re not going to just go away. The planetary magnetosphere is weakening and the manmade climate change lie is being destroyed with every storm. To further hasten the exit of the climate change lie, we’ve put satellites over the poles and equator to track the particulates as they hit our magnetosphere, right down to the atmosphere where they mix with planetary air and create storms, then hit the fault lines charging them for future EQ’s and volcanic upticks. Everything is connected.

@@fasty93 when we have an chance to see auroras in the mountains of Virginia, I’m up for days. Didn’t start out so well for us as it was super cloudy. Over time things got better and we got some great shots. Had to slow the exposure x3 to get decent color definition in pictures but we have pics pouring in from all over town. Seems everyone wanted to be a photographer last night lol.
We’ve only gone through 3 or 4 of the 7 storms so far. Check with space weather channels for tonight’s predictions. Thats where the msm gets their news and they had it off to their meteorologists so they can feel smart or something.
