The Israeli army suffered significant setbacks in its latest clash with Palestinian fighters in the northern Gaza region. Enraged Palestinian fighters launched a fierce counterattack as the IDF advanced. A video showed a lone Hamas fighter firing an Al-Yassin 105 shell at an Israeli Merkava tank, blowing it to pieces. Following this, Hamas targeted a house in Jabalia with an anti-personnel 105mm shell, killing soldiers inside. The IDF later admitted to suffering at least three losses, including the deaths of three soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip during the intense battle.
