Edgar vs. Maynard is the greatest trilogy in UFC history to me. For Frankie to get rocked that badly in BOTH championship fights 1st rounds and comeback is a thing of legend that we'll never see again. That trilogy plus his fights with BJ where he was a huge underdog and outclassed what was then considered one of the pound for pound goats twice is what makes him my favorite fighter ever. Legendary chin, cardio, heart & determination. AND he was way undersized in that weight division but you can never count out The Answer.

damn how good was BJ Benn for that final fight with Matt Hughes. I think that was when he had a special training camp, I remember seeing something about it, like they were re-working BJ "from the ground up" I mean he was doing exercises to strengthen his ankles he was jumping out of the pool onto the side from 3 feet deep. That type of conditioning plus his natural talent made BJ incredible. Too bad I don't think he could sustain that lifestyle, I think he's one of those guys who gets in his own way. But that one time, when he was firing on all cylinders, it was amazing to watch.

Stipe needs to prepare for wrestling because that's what DC is going to do. I believe it will be easier for DC to modify his defense, than Stipe improving his wrestling in few months at DC's level. Because of that I'm in favor of DC. However, this fight can really go either way.
