Awesome car and driving. Can I ask on which setting are you running the Whiteline ARB? Stiffest or middle?
Hi, thanks very much! The rear is set to the stiffest setting and the car corners extremely flat. To be honest, it was on that setting when I bought it and not felt the need to change it - the car’s far better than I am at the moment.
@@mdifficult3675 I just came across your thread on mini torque, nice build! I have a R50 mini one (16mm front ARB) and fitted a rear Whiteline ARB, was a bit concerned that it could be too twitchy on the wet and set it to softest but I think I will set it on medium or stiffest. Any concern about sudden lift off oversteer?
@@Txmax1 Cheers! I can’t take any credit for most of the build, I’m just making small changes now to get the car perfect for me. As for lift-off oversteer… definitely a problem if the rears are cold! At Bedford, it was very cold (but dry) and still took a good few laps until the rear tyres were warm enough to settle the rear. I think you just have to be patient and give them time to come in.
No offence mate but a r50 is useless for anything other then a road car it’s very slow and can barley be modded trust me invest in a 53 you won’t be disappointed.
Can you share details on your aem methanol settings? Thanks
Sure - the car’s currently in storage for a couple of weeks but as soon as I’m back with it I’ll get you the settings 👍🏻
Sorry it’s taken so long, finally remembered to get it for you. Start is 9psi and full is 25psi. Hope that’s helpful
@@mdifficult3675 you hit 25psi?
What kind of times you getting
Hi, one of my other videos from Bedford is my fastest lap of a 2:57, but most of my clear laps that day were around 3:00.
