I’ve heard her talk about him and his baseball cap before, and EVERY time she says “you look so American” she says it in such an annoying disrespectful way. Why does she think it’s bad to look American?
Story 1: the update made me feel icky. The girl sounds like she just wants to be single and keep him in the background. Relationships ebb and flow. People have ups and down. She sounds exhausting and like a fair weather girlfriend. This doesn’t sound like a co-dependency issue. It sounds like someone who wants their partner to always be Disney worthy and give flowers excitingly everyday. Be happy all the time. That’s not reality. Not to mention her approach to co-dependency issues seems excessive. Moving out is a huge step back and if they want to live together again in the future they could fall right back. Idk. Add the whole attention and validation seeking behavior and it feels gross.

The House of Krasiński is the surname of a Polish noble family. Krasińska is the feminine form. The name derives from the village of Krasne in Masovia. The family dates from the 14th century. Its members were landowners and politically active in Masovia, Lithuania and Halychyna. The Krasiński family has produced officers, politicians and bishops.
Yep, sometimes it sounds like Quazinski. There are similar phonetics in English (right the spelling is different). Ok, I’m bilingual, yet still studying French or German I get the rules not only for the sake of language but also to kindly pronounce their names. A friend’s of mine 2nd name is Jamaise. I don’t apply neither Polish nor British phonetics to it in order to pronunce it correctly. What I mean, you can explain it without philological terms. Besides, I’m not a philologist so I probably I’d would mess even more than that. Nevermind. Let’s go so it’d be something along the lines; all right; ‚Now say , let’s leave „ æ“ issues concerning letter “a”. In U.K we say chance with long “ɑː“ not like tʃæns. Now say crap like ‚krʌp’. Then you drop „p”. And it’s simple as that. “Krʌ” that’s the way the beginning of Krasiński sounds like. Geeez, got tired… Now I’ll leave „s - iński” for some other time…. It doesn’t change the fact it’s just ….. “Krasiński” 😂😂😂 I like Emily but this ridiculous way she pronounces “Kra-“ just sounds….bad.
Why don't British like Americans, we saved their Ass in WW2. Otherwise they'd be Speaking German now and saying "Hail Hitler". But I do love Emely Blunt, I could understand her English. I'm in the USA.
They wouldn't be speaking German at all, they already defeated them during the battle of Britain in 1940. Germany had already invaded the soviet union before America even joined the war. America bankrolled the Soviet Union and helped plan and execute D-Day etc. They helped enormously, but they didn't 'save Britain'.
You all repeat that type of things like parrots. 1st most people who say that were not born at that time. (So the WE blablabla, no you didn't do shit) 2nd you did not save the Brits so, please, read a history book instead of doing the parrot. 3rd Americans waited the last moment (when most of the work was done) to come so they would get something out of it (Marshall Plan and other BS) It was a business agreement. Finally, Brits (and other Europeans) usually treat people on THEIR actions, not the actions of their grandparents.
@keithbartholomew9433 But they do believe it. I used to work with Americans who were making that type of comment and thought we should constantly kiss there 🍑 for it no matter what their behavior was (and despite the fact they were not born at the time) 😅
As a neutral person, since I'm neither Brit nor American but have spent time in both countries... Naaah. Not only Brits do not envy s*** to Americans, but they don't have anything to envy to them at all.
