Hi Clint: First, that magnificent creation at 9:08 is a walking wet dream! But, to be more mature about matters, by creating these videos, you allow these men to live again. You have captured and created a collection that is quite wonderful to re-visit. I really appreciate your work. Thank you, DA
Thanks, DA. I wish I knew more about the man I lovingly refer to as "OHHH CAPTAIN! MYYY CAPTAIN!!!" No offense to Walt Whitman, but I think even he'd agree that's a sight for sore eyes. Appreciate your kind comments, as always. Cheers!
An interesting and thoughtful collection, comprised of photos of men that are soulful, dignified, powerful, charismatic and aesthetically pleasing in some manner!!! Clarence Whistler @ 1:16 knows a thing or two!! I must say, where's a Time Machine when you want one! Anyway, Thank you, yet again, Clint!!! You've released so many that are impressive that it is difficult to keep up. I plan on commenting on some that I found had an appealing aspect of sort, that "je ne sais quoi", if you will!
Thanks again, Mr. Thriver. I have collected so many images I want to share, but never feel pressured to "keep up." They're made to enjoy...at your own pace. Cheers.
Clint, a ragbag of motley males 😎 looked like at 0:42 the lad was the pond golf ball retriever at the golf club👍 again soul destroying to see the giant redwoods being felled, we know better in 2024. Again looked to be plenty of European looking images, glasshouse etc. So 👍 to this montage. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
Motley males indeed. Lots of photos from Sweden, I think. I came across a stash I couldn't resist, so mixed them with lots of others...including memories of redwoods.
Wonderful vintage photos and music. Some of those men were quite handsome and classy. But my favorite era for men's style--clothing and hair--generally is 1940-65.
It is interesting to put faces to names that I recognise (though there are names that mean very little to me, too). I actually like the anonymous men rather more. I also love the way you choose the accompanying music.❤
Thanks, Ray. Many of the names aren't familiar to me either. While I prefer the anonymous, I do like the counterbalance and context of history where it's available.
Well, based on my experience with just RUclips, I think the depictions of male nudity as definitely censored more. Though I suspect there are roughly the same number of images taken. I could be wrong, but at least this platform is FAR more stringent with the male "gayze" aimed at men than the male "gaze" at women. Such a double standard as to be maddening frankly. I've thought (and written) a lot about it. :-)

@@CollidePress The men in your photos are so sexy.....and without trying. They just are.
What must life have been like, back then? Romantic is the only word that comes to mind. Thank you, Clint. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Dunno about romantic, but things do look different in the rearview mirror, don't they?! 🌈✌️
Thank you Clint,! Nice video!!😊
Thank you, Jerry! Cheers 🌈✌️

A fascinating video and wonderful Brahms accompaniment. Your musical choices are always perfect and refreshingly varied. 😊
Why thank you. I do try to keep it interesting...for me AND you. :-)
As always, a beautiful video, handsome and interresting men, and the perfect late XIX and early XX th C. music to accompany the video !
Thanks, Philip! Appreciate the kind comment. Glad you enjoyed the photos AND the music. Cheers!
Good collection. Hard to choose my favourite. Thanks.
Thanks for the kind comment and watching, John!

Love the pics of men from the. early 20th century
Me three. Love finding these gems.

Thanks, RJ. 1940s-60s huh? I'll see what I can do for you. :-)

BRAVISIMO!!
Cheers, Steve!
Arthur Nikisch was such a dish!
Uh HUH. I'd have him over for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. :-)

@@CollidePress I certainly appreciate the brief bio on the named men in your videos. However, I doubt that much of it will stick my memory.🥰
I notice that men aren’t as publicized as females are. Good to see.
Arthur Nikisch!
it makes me very sad watching this because all those men died a long long time ago. it makes me wonder what kind of life they had.
Feel whatever moves you. I choose to celebrate that they lived. So many don't.
Names would help.
The ones available are there. What more do you want?
Another note: females are photographed nearly naked almost always, males fully clothed. Hm
