Many fans criticize MK 1 but I still like it much more than boring MK 11. Happy to see Semiij in the Top 8 and KingGambler did a great job. I know, many talented pro players didn't participate in this but still
I love that they took away so many defensive mechanics, and got rid of krushing blows. I think it was meant to add depth and layers, but made the gameplay feel very slow, with an already pretty short combo routes. MK1 brought back the juggles, neutral, mix, and watching these guys play is so entertaining.
