FOXIDIZED Last Maintenance Items - Steering Rack & Transmission Service!

What started as a simple inner tie rod end replacement resulted in a complete new steering rack! Good thing I had one on hand. Since I was already filthy from doing the rack swap I decided to tackle the transmission filter to see if I could get the car shifting better!

I replaced my steering rack on my 86 GT. It was not too bad but the leaks from the fittings drove me nuts. Those stupid teflon seals connecting the rack is retarded.

I added some of the Bars seal all to my PS fluid about a year ago because of the rack leaking. It worked but I know eventually I will need to replace the rack. Enjoy your channel as always. Happy Thanksgiving
