    Since there's so much surface space and the with the flaps coming down to 40 degrees. It would be interesting to hear how it handles during landing. With the wings so low to the ground with the flaps, there like a pocket, so how is the ground effect work?

    • @Carlonsho
      @Carlonsho 5 лет назад

      they go down up 39 degrees and you are right, there is no need or almost none flare due to ground effect

    Beautiful aircraft and great vid thanks! Pity that annoying little turbo prop hadn’t gone earlier he totally drowned out the jet noise on takeoff 😄

    I doubt it cost over 3 million dollars to build development cost should not increase cost so much

    These jets are bueatiful but way overpriced

    • @cmonaghan7
      @cmonaghan7 7 лет назад +1

      Not really. Gulfstream's and other private jets are so expensive to manufacture, if they weren't pricey they'd go out of business. If you think 6 million is expensive, airlines pay 357 million for a 747, 106 million for an a320neo with winglets, and 433 million for an a380. Military cargo pays 218 million for a c-17 globemaster, and 500 million for the antonov 225 mriya. Compare those to the gulfstream G500.

      Margins are high due to low volume and nearly the same design complexity as a commercial jet

    • @JohnnyMotel99

      mikel1982 if not more with the 500/600, because of the advanced sidestick and all glass, touch based cockpit.
