you can either mute the e string by using your thumb over top of the guitars neck, or you can lightly touch the e string and mute it with the tip of your index finger!
Since this video, I have had many comments suggesting the same thing. I came up with a solution. I make a "play through" video for every video moving forward. This way people who do not need it, don't have to watch it and it doesn't make the guitar lesson clunky (I want my videos to be quick and straight to the point, as to not waste your time.) Then if you would like to play along with me, or simply watch me play the song, that resource is available for you as well. I apologize as this new format had not been implemented as of this video, but I trust you have found this guitar lesson helpful nonetheless.
