- After hunting for Alternate Art Lugia through several live streams, I decided to buy 25 boxes of silver tempest mini booster bundles. The goal is simple. Let's pack an alternate art Lugia and be done with silver tempest once and for all! Can there be an alternate art in this silver tempest booster case opening? Silver tempest has been somewhat kind to us in terms of the pull rates for general Pokemon tcg products but can these mini booster bundles deliver? Let's find out!

Tried two, they were ok-ish.
I pulled the Serena out of 1 of those from Game Stop
I opened one and got good hits. Blaziken vmax, Braixen trainer gallery, Lance full art and radient Tsareena. But Silver Tempest has been really good to me. I packed all alts except that skuntank 😅

Your first booster bundle case was similar to mine, I got only Skuntank AA and Rayquaza TG opened on release date. Last week, I opened another bundle case, got Lugia AA, Lugia Gold, Lugia Vstar, Serena, Unown AA, and Friends of Galar. I have opened 4bb cases so far = 3 Lugia AA, 5 skuntank AA, 4 Unown AA, and 2 Regidrago AA. Three 3-pack blister cases = 1 Unown AA! 😅 Two sleeved booster pack cases = 1 skuntank AA and 1 Unown AA! 😅 I’m staying away from 3-pack blister and sleeved booster pack cases for this set! They were good to me with LO = 2 Giratina AA. 😂 I’m planning to open another booster bundle case soon while waiting for my Vstar Universe shipment, will let you know the results shortly. Thank you for sharing your videos. I enjoyed watching it every night when my kids and wife are asleep. Keep it the good work and I’ll be there rooting for you when you pull that Rayray from ES. 😀

Hey, just wanted to ask kinda non-related question.. I was thinking about buying booster box for Christmas and I cannot really decide which one to pick.. I know its gamble in the end but... which booster box set had the best pulls / pull rates for you? Thank you
Hey Michael no worries man. In terms of hits, if your goal is to open and get 'hits' like v cards v max, trainer gallery, alts, radiants I'd recommend booster boxes like silver tempest or lost origins, maybe even brilliant stars. On average I got around 14-18 hits per box. While in fusion strike or evolving skies, chilling reign, I only got around 5-8 hits per box.

Yeah don't get these lol basically 3 boxes out of 25 are good per case. So you go to gamestop or anywhere, your odds are horrible lol I have had okay luck with lost origins boxes but yeah up to you my friend
I went to buy one of the 6 packs once, got to the store and they actually had booster boxes, I wasnt there for that, didnt want to spend the money, but had my daughter pick one of the 6 boxes they had anyways. We went home and she packed the Lugia alt art, I couldnt believe it, box also had the gold lugia and regular lugia v, I dont think we will ever see such luck again.

Yeah there is alot of space but God forbid they offer packs at msrp for good prices lol. Yeah these bundles kinda suck though 😅
@@DKCards honestly the hit rates were shocking. You do have some rotten luck at the moment mate. I wouldn’t suggest buying any base set soon. You’d be that guy who gets a heavy pack and hit an alt art GI Joe card! 😅

I only opened like 10 of these mini booster, the best I got is gold lugia and rainbow lugia that in the same box, it’s ridiculous 😂
Lol still some cool things you got. I would have definitely liked a rainbow lugia but yeah the drop rates pretty horrible for these boxes in my experience

Noob question, is there really a difference in packs depending on which product it comes in? I thought all packs (of the same set) have the same randomness.
@kevintjekevin seems there are pretty good averages for booster boxes. These booster bundles definitely don't have a good average in terms of hit rates. Just my experience from opening quite a lot of boxes 😂
Making me really not want to buy a booster box this Thursday for my videos this weekend. Might just pre-order more Crown Zenith and hope for the best

Ive literally gave up on silver tempest 😆first booster I’ve pulled a gold serperior... then after that literally nothing haha few vmax or vstar but that’s it 😅this set literally made me so depressed about Pokémon cards haha I guess it’s my evolving cries set 😅ive came back into the Pokémon cards hunt during the silver tempest set period but thankfully crown zenith gaves me some more confidence haha especially with the mini tins which are insane , literally haha, I’ve bought like 6 mini tins the other day and I’ve pulled like 9 hits on 12 booster .... literally the night and day compared to silver tempest 😅double charizard radiant , 2 vstar gg , 3 gg normals ,another radiant card and a normal vstar and there was Like 25% of price reduction on Pokémon items this day so .... it was a good day for me haha
Yeah you really can't compare any modern sets to crown zenith because its just such an amazing set lol. Crown zenith beats all sets in swsh in my opinion becuase of the drop rates and how many beautiful cards are in the set for sure. I actually did finally end up pulling my chase from Silver Tempest in my christmas video haha but I feel you my friend. it took my a case of booster bundles, a case of sleeves, and a case of booster boxes to finally get one lugia. Absolute nightmare hahaha

I have the worse luck with cards... Saying that. 1st ever pack of Tempest I ever opened I got the alt Lugia. Ya better believe I sat there for a long time just in shock. My 4 year old daughter pulled a rainbow 1st pack. (Can't remember what one, it's safe in a binder though), and these were just signal packs from target for fun.
evolving cries I love because... well...eeveelutions. But Tempest was good to me and it won the 1st spot. Ha!

This set is so weird regarding pull rates, I’m like 575 packs in with 7 alt arts pulled (4 Lugia, 1 of each of the others) my friend has opened 400ish packs with zero alt arts. At this point I don’t feel like pull rates don’t exist lol just all luck based
Purely based on luck lol I was told though that the packs were very top heavy or something meaning they weren't distributed well. Could be the reasoning behind your luck
@@DKCards I didn’t open any of the same cases, I was getting like booster boxes from different places, different storefronts etc. so I feel like that might be the way to go, he opened a case of booster boxes & a case of sleeved packs. Seems like batching is also a thing with this set, if your case is cracked the whole thing is cracked. Very weird set
@Dustin Hornblower I think that's the word I meant to use batching lol. I've seen some people get all alts in one case of bbs. So yeah...great for them though 😂😂

Yeah super top heavy but loved the ray ray and lugia. Only card left is lugia but I'm definitely done with this set for big openings. Not worth anymore lol but appreciate you my friend, hopefully v star universe brings some luck 😅
